It means that the saints got equally bad calls go their way.

King was awarded a free for dropping a sitter only moments earlier, Wilkie wore buddy like a backpack in the first quarter for no free only for the saints to get a soft holding free and goal in their 50 moments later etc etc etc

Not sure how that's difficult to comprehend.

You just knew a game involving St Kilda and the Swans would turn into a pissing contest about who can whine about umpires more.
 
It was the momentum which carried both to ground.

We may as well start suspending players who try to take pack marks and accidentally knee someone in the head.

No argument from me. I don’t agree with suspensions for tackles unless they are particularly egregious like the Broad tackle.
 
Did Blakey cop a heavy hit at the start of this game?
On a numerous occassions he has been caught lacking peripheral vision and it was no different to the last incident which saw him subbed out.
