Ashcroft is a good player but cannot compare him to Daicos. Daicos carried the team last year. He's our most important player. Not sure Ashcroft could carry that burden.

You also personally ignore the idea that you don’t have to win a medal to be a great finals player. Brisbane had many of them today, just as Collingwood had many last year - including Nick Daicos who played two extremely good games in both a preliminary and grand final, and no amount of your kindergarten logic changes that.
