Congrats Brisbane. Far too good for the inanimate carbon rods Swans today. Well played and a well deserved flag!

Learnt: Just because a team finishes first, has extra weeks off... doesn't mean that the flag is theirs

learnt: hard to fathom Horse coaching on there with the message after 4 flops, come west to the eags and take Chad & Coxy with you! You’ve been there for at least two decades, far too long, start anew

hated: nothing really, tuned in only as they came through the banner and laughed off BT’s increasingly prone clangers like Denis Pagan into 3QT.

Liked: Brisbane's lesser knowns/guns. Ah Chee, Lohmann, Lester, Payne, Answerth. Were phenomenal today and all Finals Series.

Learnt: Sydney's forward line sucks. Period. Amarty and McDonald? Yeah, they're going to be easy beats in GFs with those two.

Hated: Fox Footy not having the GF. Please for the love of gun just joint bid on it. Channel 7 with ads? Nope.

Liked: Not much, it was a flat as a tack Grand Final.

Learnt: If you make the finals in any position, you are a chance, this year was anybody's flag as the Lions proved.

Hated: A lost chance at ultimate glory, my Cats really blew it after having Brisbane on toast last week, a golden opportunity has gone begging. The end of the season is always a let down.

Liked: Brissy ripped it up with positive aggressive footy, contributions all over the ground. Most commendable imo was the pressure which choked the Swans, from a team accused of not applying enough pressure. Fagan should be credited with that particular improvement.

Learnt: Not drinking on GF day means I don't need to watch a replay to find out what happened. Derp.

Hated: For the most important day of the year, the lack of technical analysis of positional decisions and the play was appalling. Hodgey did a bit, but nothing from rest. The commentary needs more analysis of what's going on

Sad: I think BT is displaying early signs of cognitive deterioration, his errors are too frequent.

Liked: Swans getting bent over and spanked in another GF

Hated: I heard Kelli Underwood's voice on the radio whilst listening at work

Learnt: Longmire has now coached 4 losing GF's in a row - tee hee

Liked: AFL GF Entertainment is becoming far less lame of late, now to put it at twilight so the fireworks dont look so stupid.

Learned: Longmire and Sydney have a problem, 1-4 since Longmire took over and 3 of the losses they were down at 36 42 and 46 points down. Far too many good players just haven't rocked up twice in 2 years.

Hated: The week off pre-finals helps teams 5-8 more than 1-4. Perhaps it needs to be moved to post round 23 instead of round 24.

Liked: Cal Ah Chee. What a fantastic performance. If Joe does call it a career now, no better way to finish too.

Learnt: Swans four-GF losing streak includes three years finishing minor premier. Even doing that much right that often, flags are ****** hard to win hey.

Hated: the Lions’ early kill of this game. Thought this would be a cracker, but fair play to them!
