I'm wondering if there was really a PS5 version, I say this as normally the PS4 version is quite a downgrade compared to the PS5 however the one for this game appears to be the same.

Are the graphics better on the PS5 version? Does the PS5 copy have dualsense controls (haptic feedback, etc)? Is the PS5 smaller in size? Or how about performance?

I may be wrong, and please correct me if I am, however I think we PlayStation only ever got a PS4 version of the game which was also simply released on the PS5 but not having any of the system upgrades. So is there even a reason to buy the PS5 copy compared to the PS4?

Just a thought 🤷🏼‍♂️
PS5 would have slightly better graphics, game is still the same

BigAntStudios Is positioning eventually going to play a bigger part in marking contests? Atm it feels all about the timing which makes marking extremely easy.

Also think auto shrugging of tackles needs to be toned down a little bit, also making the game a bit too easy for myself.

Appreciate your work over the last week and a bit!

Would also like to know if we’re able to edit player ratings? Really important for custom season modes and fantasy drafts.

And a question for those who are playing the game, do player ratings feel like they make a difference at all either on the player or AI end?
Does Bontempelli feel that much better ball in hand than Ed Curnow?
Does it matter if the AI have a ping from 40 out with Jeremy Cameron or Ben Keays, or does it just feel the same.

Also, a collision system would be nice, similar to their Lacrosse games. Will suggest to support staff.

BigAntStudios just curious, was there a noticeable bump in interest/sales after moist_critical streamed the game recently? Any involvement from the team for him to play the game?

Has player generation in manager mode been/going to be tweaked? (might need to restart my file) I'm going to have a clone army of bald players soon

I noticed that, I was pretty insistent to the support staff to change the player momentum around boundary lines and goal lines, and it looks like they did.
Would also be nice if they put in a little animation where players could run just outside the boundary but keep the ball in.

Maybe in the next game!

You do see the players right next to each other looking like they're fighting for position. I wonder if maybe said system just hasn't been implemented yet.

Because players are warping into each other, rather than colliding. And players don't try to pick up the ball at once and collide with each other, it's only ever one player who attempts to pick the ball off the ground at once. I'd love for 2 players going for a ground ball and just colliding like crazy, same as irl.

My impression is the visuals are largely the same but the PS5 can do higher resolution (4K) and FPS.

As a PS4 player I'm not complaining, I did not expect a footy game to look this good on the legacy system.

BigAntStudios is it fair to say the game engine is pushing the PS4 hardware to it's absolute limit?

As we didn't have data that was meant to be provided from the States, originally we decided it would have been implemented in a pretty random way until they did.

Given the delayed launch, we later decided to wait until the States supplied official data before adding them in. They've only just got that to us over the last week or so (as of today, not all have actually supplied). We have now decided to implement the States as they provide the data, one by one, there will be at least one in the next few days.

States are to supply us real names, positions, etc. likeness will be very general, they did not get photogrammetry

Will these players have 'PlayFaces' or will they just be vanilla custom players?

I've lodged about 10 tickets with Bigant support with bugs I've found/noticed that haven't really been mentioned here that I can see.. I hope it doesn't get annoying or anything lol
That is very much preferable and will get them fixed much faster.
