Here….

Seems like a rather large oversight if that’s the case. You’d think it would be clarified prior.
If you know what you are doing, creating the jerseys isn't too time consuming. Also, if I read your quotes, you can see they are aware of the potential for issues with copyright.

Maybe so but still unnecessary time spent on something that could have been utilised elsewhere.

Could have easily been something created and added down the track after it was approved.

I played a game last night where I am almost 90% sure it was meant to be a holding the man free. I’m assuming they just haven’t done what needs to be done for it to be implemented properly yet.

I got tackled down my attacking goal square and my guy tried to get up but the AI kept holding my player and I couldn’t get away and he looked like he was throwing his arms up in an attempt to show he was being held to the ump. Seemed to well animated to be a glitch
I'm hoping that the reason the tackle is a hold rather than a tap is so you can hold players up like they do in real life. And that you need to be aware of where each player is because you could tackle them too early causing htm.

In the later irgurus games (2007 I think maybe more) you could straight up tackle anyone at any time. Would be a nice touch and would stop the button spam that was in the Evo games.

I wonder on this point how much of it is user skill? If FIFA first came out today and you'd never played it before, put in a few hours and then play on legendary you'd likely say the same thing about trying to defend AI attacks. Maybe now timing is critical to beat AI in marking contests? Or player rating or position?

Am being devils advocate of course and haven't played for nearly a week now, but I kinda feel like that's how you want the hardest difficulty to feel, to a point.
I understand why people don't like rubber banding and the like. But I think for at least this iteration I can live with it being in the hardest difficulty. Just because afl games in the past are piss easy once you learn the timings and controls.

It's definitely not impossible but very difficult which is exactly what the hardest difficulty should be funnily enough.

There seem to be lots of people on here complaining about how things are at the hardest setting. Have they tried other setting levels. We could assume that hardest is hardest, but maybe not the most challenging

Can you please confirm the optimum specs for importing an SVG file into Logo Creator.
I'm getting stuff into the game, but sometimes I think I'm good to go and it looks wonky in game. I'm using Adobe Illustrator to prep files and try to keep under a 400 node limit. The tops and bottoms of some circles seems to be warping even in low node graphics.

I am waiting for a few more patches before writing a full review, but after playing a full game and having a pretty close score, I still can't say that the game is fun yet. The mechanics are poor and around contests it often feels like a button mashing exercise. Sometimes I can have some nice linkups but executing basic things is so much harder than any other comparable sports game I've played.

Not just yet, and deliberate out of bounds, although I’m kinda happy deliberate out of bounds isn’t in the game yet, as I’m not a fan of the rule :D
I've been pinged a few times for deliberate when handballing near the boundary or clearance kicking hasn't gone where I wanted. It comes up saying "out of bounds" but then the other team has the kick

I've seen lots on auto interchange ... but is manual interchange working on the new patch? Eg. for away teams . Sub was always activating instantly the second you open team management screen too before. Would be nice if that's all patched up

Have we got weekend patches for console as of yet??
Same situation as last week. The Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday night Steam patches will be combined and released on Monday night/Tuesday morning. Reason was because Steam is a much quicker process to roll back than PS - if the patch breaks the game, they can fix quickly rather than wait 6-12 hours minimum for PS to roll back/re-release

Different staff work on different aspects of the game. It's quite possible the Art guys had plenty of time to work on the designs and not have it affect their workload or take up resources that could be allocated elsewhere.

That's crazy, I haven't seen any of these things tonight playing on Steam. Whaaat.

Came on here to say how much I enjoyed playing tonight, so many enhancements are pushing us in the right direction. I am starting to have the utmost faith. Hopefully more people get to play the version of the game I just experienced, and yes that's a really weird thing to type. Those little chaotic moments you get are starting to appear more and more often, magnificent.
I have faith. I've said since the 2nd or 3rd patch that this game will be great after a month. And my first half a game went really well (even though I got flogged on hardest). Then half the 3rd quarter was spent watching players stand in a huddle while the ball sat on the ground beside them. then noticed the wild handballs came back and I had player animations glitching a lot more than the previous patch. I couldn't really figure out what was fixed aside from slightly better AI marking.

Unsure what triggers them but its broke so don't bother. It plays on automatically when your player gets up and you're tackled almost immediately.
This was fixed in last nights Steam patch, they’re paid now.

I’m fully aware how game development works but I’m quite sure there are other areas they could have focused their time and not on things that had a possibility of never being included.

Deliberate is in the game, just ridiculously uncommon...
I'm glad it's never called. I would have thrown my monitor by now if there was a free kick every time a player spontaneously handballed 70m behind himself out of bounds.
Are 50 metre pens in the game?
Also glad this isn't in since half the set shots I take have AI players standing shoulder to shoulder with me.
  • auto interchange subs out players as well. that needs to be left alone and on manual.
  • auto interchange doesn't seem to run on fatigue, which seems to make no sense. I played a game out with nankervis in the ruck despite selecting a second ruck, but changes everywhere else. could it be because my second ruck was on the field?
  • please fix the player slow-downs after making a spoil, immensely frustrating.
Also noticed and experiencing these

I’d rather another week of gameplay patches then jerseys tbh.

BigAntStudios how many more patches do you anticipate will be enough to get the game back to where it was prior to the release? I’m honestly very keen to start a Management Mode but am sitting patiently to wait for the game to be as fixed as it can be 🤞🏽

So, when are we getting coaches likenesses back in the game?

I know it's not a priority but would be nice to have them in there. Every coach on PS5 is still a generic bald guy for me.
