STATE OF PLAY:

• The game is out for Steam and PlayStation. There have been issues with Xbox release and it is unclear when the game will be available.
• Big Ant are aware that there are playability issues & bugs at present.
• Content has been temporarily removed from the game to identify where the issues lie.
• This content will be re-introduced via patches in the coming days.
• Big Ant have released a summary of what is to be reintroduced, which can be seen below.

Kick outs are cooked. Either goes out on the full or a deliberate rushed behind. Can only torp it.

Maybe I’m incompetent, but handballs fire off in random directions.

Nope, having both of those issues too.

Funnily enough my guy chose to boomerang it backwards from a kick out, and then the game wouldnt go past 3QT :/ Weird.

Not just you...tho since the patch i have found i get done for incorrect disposal less then i was but the tackling is still a big issue

The timing is off on tackling, no doubt. Impossible to get a clean kick away unless there are paddocks of space ahead.

This is actually much more unplayable than before sadly after putting some time in. AI are so OP that you cant just have a bit of fun kicking around and winning. Really hope BA come out of their cave soon and just say something. My assessment this morning was mistaken but I could even swear it feels way harder and glitchier than this morning.

The speedy gonzales nature of the AI is infurating when we move like snails in comparison. I noticed something and I'm using it from now on, I just let my AI teammates do the same thing, then switch to that player - makes me into The Flash and I'm able to play a bit better because of it.

That said I just lost 18 to 55 against Melbourne, played crap in the first quarter. Caught up in the second and third, got blown away in the last.

It's impossible to play consistently against bodgy AI that cheats by design.

Mine was far more playable this morning with the same patch and I could be competitive against the AI on medium. Very, very strange.

This game is awful. Played for the first time today and can’t work out what is happening.

Goal kicking is atrocious, use the button from the backlog it works ok then 30 metres out straight in front and it goes 5 metres sideways. Marking doesn’t work.

Handballs don’t work. Get tackled every 5 seconds, then from the forward 50 a handball goes backwards to the opposition’s 50 and they’re all free and walk into a goal.

Opposition mark in the centre circle all my players just surround the mark (literally 7 players giving away a 50 metre penalty) and they chip around the ground and walk into an open goal.

Bought this with a PS voucher online and can’t get a refund!!! Absolutely filthy

Really weird how different the experiences are atm. I am on Hard and really not getting the issues with the AI "pinging the ball around."

First game was a hard fought win against WCE, second a 2 point after-the-siren win against GC, and most recently was up 68-30 against the Cats at 3QT until the commentary cut out and now the game is stuck on a flank view and won't progress the game.

Don't think I'm that good, but yeah, it's odd. The game feels tougher than before but still not really that hard, and I wouldn't say I'm finding the AI unfair or unrealistic.

Without checking your history in this thread, if you're new here, they are updating regularly and fixing bugs and we're hoping in a month (maybe more) it will be a very good game. A lot of the fundamentals are in place. But also every chance that doesn't happen
