I am tempted to get a PS5 now they are readily available due to wanting to try out the last of us games and Spider-Man 2 at some stage but sounds like even if I go that way better off holding out until Xbox game is out anyway to try this game then.

The new patch has made the game pretty much unenjoyable. It is so insanely difficult even on easiest, to the point where I can't say I'm having fun.

The ridiculous AI tackling, poor player selection and movement, inability to ever win a centre bounce hitout, handballing glitches, and over-correction on the marking has to take priority over stuff like crowd numbers.
Me too - I've stopped playing until they fix it - game play sliders would be good here.

whenever i am running i just get tackled immediatly. its feels as if i am running in sand and i seem to never be able to tackle or run after the ai.

Yeah it’s not fun at all for the moment.

I also found it’s so hard to get a kick off from a forward 50 stoppage. Not sure if there’s a secret for that.

I feel like the patch has made gameplay far worse if anything. Can't take a step without a tackle..
After all it still crashes..

Absolutely ridiculous idea to face stadiums in. Adelaide oval the wrong way around, couldn't possibly have thought fans would enjoy that..

The camera is on the other wing, it's not the wrong way around.

If you were sitting on that wing, it is the view you would have.

Much better than it was on PS5 but the instant AI decisions still need toning down and the tackling zone as well as mentioned by everyone. Also the AI gets far too many open players far too quickly, even with manual switching as well trying to get the right player is still difficult.

Also I have no idea how to mark so I just spoil everything.

A step in the right direction but still needs more steps to get to the finish line.

Definitely much harder now, I played last night and won by almost 100 points on medium difficulty and now I'm struggling to win - harder to score now and take a mark, but sometimes seemed like the AI would goal far too easily... Maybe I'm just not very good. haha Just a thought regarding the scoring, rather than the score (goal or point) being updated immediately once the ball goes through the goals, there should be a delay for the score to be updated. eg. if a goal is scored the score could maybe update (tick over) at the subsequent ball up, a behind could update when the opposition has possession about to kick out from the goal square. Just an idea for added realism, as it's never instantaneous on a tv broadcast.

I get that it would possibly look better to have the camera on the other wing at some venues like Adelaide oval but if it’s possible to look into as an option, I’d still personally prefer to have it on the broadcast side (just my opinion)

Yep, I haven’t been this frustrated with a game since Mission Impossible N64. Putting it away until the gameplay is solid, can’t keep abusing myself like this.

has there been any fine tuning for the lower difficulties
There have been changes but tomorrow will see a more definitive set of difficulties as we use the analytics of w/l ratios of players in the 10000's of matches played so far.
