Yes mate, the AussieRulesLive app is continuously loading something. What its loading......i dont know. It used to have the full fixture for the whole season but now i only have rounds 1 and 2.

A lot of the "features" dont work properly but live score updates are very quick.

Thanks for replying. I did some research and apparently the app isn't actually loading anything. It's just a bug that will be fixed in version 2

Also the app only loading 2 weeks of fixtures is because the program kept crashing on startup and reducing the weeks temporarily solved that problem. Also fixed in version 2.

Live commentary will also be in version 2. This version should be released in the next few days apparently.

The update was released this morning.

Looks pretty good.
They got rid of the injuries/suspensions list by the look of things.

Just glad that the full fixtures are back, and you can look at stats from matches already played (ie round 1).

Will be good to see how the live commentary works on the weekend.

Yeah the app looks alot more slick now with a few useless options gone and some very handy new ones being used. The fixtures look miles better than before and the live match screen now just shows the weekends fixture rather than saying 'No Live Matches'

Far better now with Version 2.0, looks alot more professional and sleek overall, not to mention alot more responsive.

Can't wait for the live commentary, will be great to see how it's done.

it only converts the times of the game into local times

Only gives the leading goal kickers, doesn't give out any other stats as far as I'm aware.

The update for aussie rules live was mostly good.

The live commentary was ok, but id only use it if i was somewhere out of radio range.

Still got the problem with no update of scores for home team in 3rd quarter.

New problem: score worm no longer works.

The site says there will be another update this week, hopefully it fixes all these problems. They want to bring back thursday team line up and injury/suspensions lists. Hopefully that works this time.

They seem like a good mob, looks like we will get updates each week until all the problems are ironed out. Good to see some integrity from app developers. Ive had a few that take your cash for crappy apps then disappear off the face of the earth. Looks like this mob are genuinely trying to provide a quality app for all us AFL tragics.

The stats and dreamteam update is fantastic. Very clever idea to get peoples dreamteam scores over the weekend. This app just keeps getting better

I found anouther new app 2day. Aussie Rules Live for $2.49 in the app store. looks pritty good as well. there is a video on their website

I've used it for a couple of months, and have been very happy with it.

Good for when one is on the golf course and want to find out what is going on in the fitba.

But right now Aussie Rules Live is the far better app and cheaper.

The AFL want $6 PER MONTH to use their official app.

I balked at what I thought was a one-off $6 fee (but still probably would have bought it).

What a bloody rip off! $5.99 for a 30 day subscription! I'm seriously disappointed as I waited for this every day for the last month to turn up on the app store. I thought this was going to be a godsend for those living abroad.

The new interface is awesome, I love the locker room aspect of it.
Now that they've added SC scores it's put the cherry on top of the already awesome cake

Yes, but that seems to be the downfall for many who paid for the app last year and are now unhappy with the obtrusive "Car Sales" ads and there being no option to take them down.

Reading through the most recent reviews on iTunes it seemed that 90% of them were digs at either the lack of speed, ads, or the less clean interface.
Surprisingly enough they also spelt Freo "Freemantle"

I'm pretty sure the Official AFL app has full match replays, best goals marks etc.
