ok this is how deluded some of you are..
franklin was listed as 25 wasnt he
some stats

franklin has missed 2 games this year
lloyd has missed 5
yet these are the stats

franklin 178 kicks, 109 marks, goals 61, behinds 56
lloyd 203 kicks, 118 marks, goals 60 behinds 30

someone explain to me how one player can be 25th and the other not feature in the top 50 when you look at the facts?

not top forwards in the comp? leading the comp in average goals per game THIS YEAR!! kicked 20 goals over the last 5 games in which we have won 1 out of 5 and got thumped by 60+ points in too. explain to me how that is not top 50 worthy??? what does he have to do to be top 50 worthy? lead the comp by 1000+ goals in one year? that probably still wouldnt be worthy in your eyes

hird was actually considered an off chance for the brownlow up until round 14 when he got injured... missed 5 games but i would still say that was enough to be top 50 maybe not top 30 or 40 but should definatley be featured..

fletcher is pushing for AA selection this year, experts say it, commentators say it, media say it.. so if he is pushing for the best 22 in one year how doesnt he push for the top 50?

A little biased?;)

A little biased?;)

possibly but its logical aswell, okay ill admit hird maybe doesnt deserve to be in there, would definatley be there if not for injuries but he could possibly be left out, i think he should be about 40th but whatever may be a bit biased

i dont see any possible reason why lloyd isnt in there except for the fact that he is a victim of his own standards... just because he isnt playing as good as he can doesnt mean he isnt the top 50, fletcher should definatley be there, no doubt about it.. i mean come on have some sense

Based on his last month of footy Judd shouldn't be on the list let alone number 1 but we all know that would be wrong.

Can someone please enlighten me as to how this list has been compiled.

Surely the list is not just for the players performances in the 2007 season?

Judd no. 1 this year?

Or is this just an "at their best" list?

I'm guessing MVP.

Nice list, although N. Lappin methinks deserves t.50.

Your Top 9 is very good although not in the order I would have it and Chad Cornes would round out any Top 10. Black, Glass, Kirk, Rutten and O'Keefe are too high, S Burgoyne, Franklin and K Cornes too low.
A few blokes are there on reputations but coming back from injury so I don't think they should neccesarily slip out after a year based on their previous form.
