Div 3 is a different story for top 4. Predictions anyone
Belco
Adfa
Anu
Gungahlin

Then
Cooma coota and Yass all just missing out
mmmm It will be close...... But I would like to see one of the one team, rugby league town sides be there.
Good on Belco, ANU and ADFA. most probably going to have 2 sides in finals.

Harman could push it and I have a feeling there numbers have just come good but it's going to a tough effort maybe just too big
If Harman can beat ANU this week then maybe... if they lose no chance.

Agree with this and cant see them beating uni .How long has it been since we seen 3 clubs have both threes and fours playing finals ?This year there is the prospect of three clubs Adfa favorites in both div,s Belco always a threat ,and Uni who has been very consistant for a number of seasons now.

There is still one club that will start stacking there 3s to make div 3 finals. I'm not going to mention the club as I think we all know who

Let's hope not Freddy, at the end of the day it doesn't help to many people, I just feel sorry for the blokes who played all year for a team who find there spot its no longer there come crunch time

That's exactly what I'm getting at. I played in Adelaide for a team that had 4 teams. By rights I should have started div 3 or 4 but at training they told me I was good enough to play div 2 with a chance of div 1. Problem was I moved to Adelaide late in the season and I think I played 3 home and away games and 2 finals. When they announced the gf side I was in and a bloke that played every game missed out. He was nearly in tears. I went home happy to be in but upset for this guy who just missed out. I rang the coach and asked if I could withdraw and the other guy play. His heart and sole was in this club and he deserved a game over me and my 5 game career with them. We won and the other guy played really well. He gave me the medal to keep as he said he would always have the memory. I'm not looking for pats on the back just saying that the players that do all the hard work during the year deserve the rewards. There are exceptions but reward for effort is all I'm saying

This argument is old.The jets droping players back is no different than Coota playing players from other leauges under bogie names,or a club umpire that insures that he,s team is in a favorable position.Personally id rather see players drop back to help a struggling club .At least you know what to expect, and who your playing against.

This argument is old and not limited to this league. I think you will find that there are more Jets div 3 players going up to help than div 1 players coming back to 'stack' (I may be proven wrong). Is there a big rivalry between Yass and Coota?
Not sure how anyone can prove players from other leagues playing. And of course a 'club' umpire would say his team is in a favourable position. Thats why they call them 'club' umpires! He could be a player that missed out that week.
Not necessarily, one of the 3 lose round 1 and boom there 3rd grade team gets a heap better
I'm pretty sure that if a player plays a higher div in finals and gets knocked out of contention, they cannot play the following week in a lower div. They would still be on the piss :D

Southcab from what I have read from you. You seem very sour about cootamundra , making statements without any proof. Would this be correct or am I reading it wrong

I am glad that you think I am from Coota SC. Don't go to crazy thinking about it. I am reading your posts in the same way that Freddy is in the fact that you do sound very sour toward them. The only game I have seen them play is last years prelim final against ANU. I am going to watch them play ADFA this weekend to see if they have improved. Looking through this thread, there doesn't seem to be anyone from Coota here, so when you go off on a rampage about sprinklers being left on and players from other leagues playing under bodgie names, there has been no one to question it. So all I am diong is questioning some of your quotes. When the national broadband finally gets to Coota and they have internet, someone from Coota may ask for your proof. That is unless you would like to provide it before then. Until then I won't do anymore questioning unless I feel like it.
Good luck to all this weekend.:thumbsu:

Sweet, I like that name. I might change it. I'm sure everybody on here also knows that proof is easy to provide. Actually, I might change my name to detective;)
Might go to Yass with a camera and team sheet this weekend.

See you there then, ill buy the beer .

i dont really get it SC, you always have political things to say about every team but when it comes to coota you rag them out like. i think you guys need to kiss and make up.
And althought i don't really want to start an argument i have to say that to buy him a beer you would actually have to make it back to the pub after the game.....

Come on Jectz, things aren't that bad that we need to kiss and make up are they? I don't even know who to kiss!!
Are you saying that there is no beer at the ground?
Apparently Harman have forfeited against Belco so looks like ya got one tip right already LOL!
Harmen forfeit is interesting if true. How come Harmen have to forfeit, but ADFA get to 'rescedule'
