Re: AFL Canberra

Have heard Belco spoke with Knowles, who didn't want a bar of it, apparently he was close to getting a development job with collingwood, but has accepted an offer from a SANFL team.

Whispers Belco also spoke with one of the Cannon boys (coached Eastlake?) who didn't like the set-up out there either.

Could be scraping the bottom of the barrell out North?

Last one on the Grapevine, apparently morale wasn't high leading into the GF this year for the Magpies, after one of the boys was involved in extra curricular activity with another players property, if you know what I mean.

Whats with Rogers leaving Eastlake, have they run out of shorts after he soiled himself too many times, the bloke is Sh!t scared, only started getting a kick when he went down back and could play from behind, skillful player but never going to win you a tight one, or a final.

I hear the Tricklers have picked up a Ruckman from Tassie.

Any other news out there?

I must say I am a little shocked at the appointment of Bubba Read to the 1st Grade spot at Belconnen after only 1 year as a coach for the 2nds...all be it a premiership year.

Did they not have many experienced candidates??

Steve Maher and Bubba couldn't be anymore further apart as far as personalities go so it will be a testing time for both coach, players and staff.

Or will he be the hand puppet for the man upstairs??

He will probably be a puppet similar to the relationship between Fowlie and Armstrong. Whats personalities got to do with coaching and what are you basing your assessment of their personalities on? neither of them respect you or even talk to you ABH so what are you assessing this on?

Your obviously very young or very dumb!

Personalities have alot to do with coaching. If there is a conflict due to a clash in personalities is can become a disease in a football team.

You deal with so many different personalities as a coach that not all respond to the same treatment. One size glove does not fit all and thats when clashes begin. I dont even know why I need to explain this as its pretty obvious to anyone with half an idea.

All I meant was you have Maher who is easy going and quietly spoken who would mean no harm to anyone and then you have Bubba who is like a dog at a bone, very annoying and may not be as forgiving.

Not sure what any of this has to do with respect or talking to me but it does show that you have a lack of maturity and are probably a football nuff nuff.

Now get back to your homework so you dont end up living in Charnwood.

I see both Qbn and Ainslie have started Pre Season already. :p

For Qbn its a month before they normally start but seeing as they finished a month before they would have hoped for its fair enough to start a month earlier.

When do the others commence.

Our house now has a treadmill in the laundry, and footyfotography training is underway. I'm aiming for a 3.1 beep test! :)

(And one day I will put Tuggeranong and Queanbeyan end-of-season preso photos up for your personal viewing pleasure. I've discovered this thing called 'facebook', which I think is web 2.0 speak for 'how to waste an absolute s&*tload of time').

Has anyone else out there heard the rumour that Ainslie have signed Tivendale??

I still cant believe Im asking if its true when typing it out but I have heard it from several sources??

Surely if it has occurred (and I dont personally think it has or will) it would be in the paper, on a website, on the news??

I think someone is having a lend of you ABH. From what I have heard, the Tricklers spoke with a few ex Richmond boys, but nothing has come of it.

No doubt they still have a few irons in the fire though.

You would have to think he would be able to attract a better offer then the tri coulers surely.
What would you think a player of that caliber would attract $$$ wise?

No, but anyone heard the rumour that you're a deadset knob.

Oh thats right it wasn't rumour, well known fact

Oh what sorry. Should I have spent my whole post bragging about how much money I get paid (or $$$ in your terms).

You're a class A knob. Nothing wrong with that. Blokes like you are needed to justify decent blokes.

Your 2 posts say alot about your IQ BP....

Now get back to play group;)
