"Footy Flick" on the app store have a new update v1.2, and have fixed the Kick so it fades away towards the further it goes, great fun.

Also checkout the tap to toss the grass in the air, classic Lloyd!

Just like Paper Toss but it's AFL and free.

Footy Live just updated their app to 2010. Adverts all over the shop, but it is free and does all that I need an afl app to do. Ties in with the footytips site too, that's a bonus.

Ok Ive done the math.

Take into account the following. 1000 kb = 1mb, 1000mb = 1 Gig.

OK

1 kbps = 450kb of data per hour.

SEN on "Tune in" App, is at 12kbps which = 5.4mb per hour of data used.
Sen on other Apps can go up to 16 Kbps = 7.2mb per hour of data used.

3aw on "Tune in", is at 10kbps = 4.5mb per hour.
On other Apps it can be as high as 32kpbs = 14.4mb per hour.

Triple m on "Tune in", is at 32kbps = 14.4mb per hour.

ABC 774 on "Tune in" runs at 45kbps = 20.25 mb per hour.

64kbps= 28.8mb per hour

128kbps= 57.6mb per hour.

I bought this last year when it was $3.99 once off and it was worth it in every way. Now its free!!

I hope the AFL official app gets a rating of 1 star to show them how stupid they are.

Spoke too soon. This app is now a POS. Full of ads, stupid graphics and slow as buggery. I'd rather pay $6/month for the afl one now :-(

Why can't they just leave something that's works!

I have started with a news feed and the next release will have a ladder. I am also looking into ways of providing realtime score updates.
