I have a fair idea of whats wrong (and a couple of ideas for trading) but i wont say anything in case i change what you first thought. Have 200,000 in the bank. Thanks.

Dunno about chris newman, he doesnt seem to be going as well as last year. Hopefully from a richmond point of view, he improves. Dont know about waters in your starting 22. fairly good centres. Rucks might need an improvement. Maybe go after lade if you have money. Forward line looks ok, but a lot of them can be unreliable at times, eg, s johnson, didak, chapman, motlop. Overall i think it's a pretty decent side though.

not overly improving your team with option 1. i have chapman but a better option round his price would be tarrant (i have both:D ). Leaving it would be better unless other trades are considered

I will downgrade Gram to Stiller then upgrade Mooney to Cox (at this stage)

rooke averages only 58, whilst mcmahon is about 87, gram is on my bench so isnt doing anything, would knowing that he isnt in the 22 change your opinion at all

and personally im not a tarrant fan, so no way would he ever make it into my side

A question regarding players who have missed a game: Like Henstchel for instance. He should be scoring around the 70 mark given his price. Given he scores 70 in this round. Will his price remain fairly unchanged?

Basically does missing a game affect prices at all? if so, how?

I think I'll have to keep newman as a sunk cost. Got hit during his last game and had decent scores in the previous 2.
Good call on Waters. I'm considering getting MJohnson.
I think rucks are ok. I'll keep hale after that performance but Brogan could be a concern... hopefully Lade beaks his third leg. That or i can pick up Everitt.
SJohnson I am considering trading (having chapman in the same team is dicey). Perhaps for Pavlich.
You think Gram is ok in the 22. I want to trade him for D Harris.

Reminds me of school.
Don't know.
I would assume it doesn't affect his price.

You shouldnt joke around with those type of things...

Anyways trading for Pavlich now is a great idea as his price is unlikely to drop further. Harris is also a great buy as he looks to be given more game time this year and injuries (hopefully) wont affect him much

What are everyone's scores and ranking so far?

Round 1 - 1512
Round 2 - 1842
Round 3 - 1989

Ranking: 2138

Crap first round, would've been much higher.

Winning my league, 1 point from second!
You had to bring that up:mad: :p

I begrudgingly agree with your first comment but choose to hang my hat on the word "always".

So you think i should head down that path. The only problem i have with it is waters is still around in my best 22. SJohnson to Pavlich > Waters to MJohnson?

Pav up against Adelaide this week. Might be worth waiting 1 more week to pick up Pavlich. Tough call.

Will players under 150k including waters, murphy, thomas, minctosh, gibson and etc still increase. And what price do you guyz think they'll be by rounds 10-15?

what does he have to score to go down?

i have travis johnstone atm but can trade him for bruce what is your opinion on this?

Bruce was one of my certainties before the comp. started. But i saw his price and his lack of preseason which turned me off him. I wish i could have my time again. Dont know of the players prices, but if you can get him i would, johnstone hasnt started too well either.

with gram only scoring 50 and 32 in the last two games, would another score of around 40 or so mean his price would decrease, or would he continue to rise

Skooks said:
Anything over 35, he will continue to rise

Incorrect. He needs 56 just to stay at his current value.

Ok, so this week im doing either;
1. Nothing
2. Sandilands for skipper(more game time), then either roughead or brennan for C. Cornes, Bowden or Hodge.
3. Whelan for Rivers with or without Sandilands/skipper trade.

Leaning towards number 1, although had rivers not been injured i would have had him from the start, whelan hasnt really set the world on fire. So that trade is also likely.
