********, that sucks! Beau Waters will definately not play Round 1 and my reserves (Rcihard Douglas and Grant Birchall) won't play either so who is a good replacement for Waters between $100K and $210K?

I'm thinking C.Johnson (Melb), Fixter or Bevan but may have to wait for Rnd 1 team to come out.

The Beau Waters scenario might make or break alot of sides. He wont play round 1 but he could play anywhere from round 3 onwards IMO. However, it is conceivable that he might not get a game until round 10. If he plays early alot of teams with get a big boost but if he doesnt, he could sink alot of sides who have to find a replacement at $150k which isnt easy. I am still tossing up whether to leave him in my side aswell. I will wait and see closer to the start of R1.

Re: What about this then:

Oh When the Saints said:
Backs:
R Murphy
T Hentschel
M Maguire
D Wojcinski
B Rutten
B Harris

Centres:
L Ball
C Ling
L Power (Bris)

Rucks:
P Everitt
J Koschitzke
H McIntosh

Forwards:
F Gehrig
S Milne
M Pavlich
A Davey
B Fevola
L Jericho

Bench:
J Smith (Kangaroos)
A Selwood (WCE)
B McDonald
D Motlop (Port)

Alright, I know, too many St. Kilda players, but what about the rest? I've never done this before, so give me some help

Your centres and midfield are good, but your forwards and defenders need a bit of work. I'd only keep Smith, R.Murphy and maybe Hentschel from defence and trade the rest and I'd only keep Pavlich, Motlop and probably Fevola from forwards.

Trade McDonald for McIntosh if you have some cash left.

Schultz will play CHB for Richmond this year and you'd assume would get alot of touches.

For 230k I reckon he is a good deal.

Why do you need money in the back?

I'm sorry Bentleigh but I think you Richmond goggles are altering your judgement. Schulz isnt anything special, isnt even close to proven at CHB and to be honest, I dont see him being much at AFL at all. He is way too inconsistant and his decision making and skills at times are appauling for an AFL footballer. He also doesnt find much of the ball.

We're moving to a new dedicated server, since we were getting too popular for the old shared one. Should be up by Friday at the latest. It will be interesting to see who appears first, FanFooty or the Dream Team. :D

im still not completely convinced about this substitution rule and its interpretation.....

If the rule is that a forward can only replace a forward, a centre can only replace a centre etc....then every team needs to have at least one interchange player in each position that will play every week....otherwise the risk is way too high....

Can anyone confirm this rule categorically?

Whos gonna do better 06 or would u take them both for around 660k?????
I'd rather take these 2 than Hodge!!!

McLean
&
J.Lewis

If saddington stays fit from injury, he will b a steal for around the 200k mark....

Just a TIP
Be very carefull when spending 600k+ on a player. If that player has a couple of bad games, value will drop more than 100k!!!!!!thats when you recruit them!!
First 5 rounds r give n take till players settle in...

Fixter is this year's Francou, I think. Everyone will have him.

is he in there best 22, i have my doubts. makes him not like francou of last year monty ;)

This years Francou is Motlop, only Motlop actually is good.
motlop can play, doesnt mean he is a good fantasy option like francou was last year. motlop will play deep in ports forward line for the year, not on the ball like francou did last year:rolleyes:

He is a gun. Francou is old and slow and poo.

You watch Motlop average mid 70s at leats ;)

lmao........mid 70's:eek:

u better bookmark that ;)

In regards to Fixter, if he stays uninjured I wouold expect him to play most games off the bench.

He's a handy utility player.

thats the big IF

he has played 3 games outa a possible 70+ in the last 3 years.
he has played 25 games outa a possible 110+ in the last 5 years.

ill pass

According to someone in here who posted like 2 days ago, it should open today at 5:00pm.. if its true only about 40 minutes ago

But i doubt it:(
