Thanks. Griffen or Reilly?
Reilly but I'm a little biased.

Tough one. Reilly is a better DT scorer IMO. But he will get a lot of bench time due to the midfield rotations at Adelaide, whereas, Griffen should nearly play full games but wont score very high as he is a quality player, not a quantity player. Tough decision. I would go Reilly as I think he could have a MASSIVE year and he is relatively cheap.
Rischitelli or Raines?

Who do you guys reckon is the best value ruck around the 95-105 K mark. I've got Ryder and Clarke as reserves, but I need a cheap ruck who'll play games.

McIntosh from the Roos? Or Jamar from the Dees expected to have bigger seasons?

After completely starting all over again, here's my team:

BACKS:
Hodge, Luke
Murphy, Robert
Hentschel, Trent
Soloman, Dean
Brennan, Jared
Staker, Brent
Hay, Jonathan

*Haddrill, Robert
*Birchall, Grant

CENTRES:

Bowden, Joel
Goodwin, Simon
Black, Simon
Sylvia, Colin

*Murphy, Marc
*Knights, Chris

RUCKS:
Mooney, Cameron
Hale, David
Jolly, Darren
Fraser, Josh

*McIntosh, Hamish
*Ryder, Patrick

FORWARDS:
Riewoldt, Nick
Ablett, Gary Jr.
Robertson, Russell
Tarrant, Chris
Thompson, Nathan
Merrett, Daniel
Motlop, Daniel

*Gibson, Josh
*Thomas, Dale

Can I please have some opinions.

Do you reckon these guys will get much game time this year, or can they?

1) Marc Murphy
2) Xavier Ellis
3) Patrick Ryder
4) Josh Kennedy
5) Shannon Hurn
6) Travis Varcoe
7) Beau Dowler
8) Mitchell Clark

All I can say is that Marc Murphy will get many games this year

1) Will play most of the year, and will do good
2) Won't play a game, due to school
3) will play 10-12 games
4) will play during the 2nd part of the year
5) I doubt will play
6) May play later on, depending on injuries for the cats and himself
7) Won't play, out for a while due to injury
8) Will play quite a few games depending on Brisbane's season

My opinion of who i think will be most likely to play.

1) Marc Murphy - Yes (Will play close to 22 games, if not all 22)
2) Xavier Ellis - No (Is reported to be dedicating this year to his VCE, so no)
3) Patrick Ryder - Possibly (I'm guessing maybe a few games (3-5), but not many)
4) Josh Kennedy - Possibly (Depending on his injury, i think he will play close to 10 games this year if fully fit)
5) Shannon Hurn - Unlikely/No (With a midfield like West Coasts, it would be difficult to try and crack into their lineup)
6) Travis Varcoe - Possibly (I believe he could play a few games here and there throughout the year)
7) Beau Dowler - No (Serious injury in the pre-season looks to have hampered his chances of playing in 2006. Hawks may choose to rest him for the full year or start him off in the reserves this year if he recovers fully. No chance of playing any games for the Hawks this year)
8) Mitchell Clark - Possibly (This really depends on performance of the Lions' forwards. While i think he won't play the majority of the 22 games, he is likely to play a number of games, and if he continues pre-season form, he may even play more)

Which combo?

Simon Goodwin and Matthew Bate

OR

Jonathan Brown (or Pavlich) and Chris Knights

This is straight into my 22.. Thanks

Definitely Brown and Knights.
I am not even sure Bate will play Round 1.
Now to my question, and NO ONE has answered it yet.
Rischitelli or Raines?

would only consider picking Clark and Murphy from that lot.

I haven't seen the performance of Raines in the pre-season, but i have seen Rischitelli's and was quite impressed.

If i were to choose, i'd choose Rischitelli for sure.
