My team any views?

Take some money out of your rucks and midfield and put it into your backs and forwards, especially forwards. You've got Judd ($394,000), Cross ($399,000), West ($386,000), Ball ($353,000) and Black ($348,000). That is too much on your midfield. Downgrade, get it into your terrible forward line.

I think there are just better options around him. I dont have the list in front but could help you out if you want.

He is a highly skilled player, but doesnt consistenty amass huge numbers. Will normally play deep in defence. Could be a great SC player as he intercepts long balls into the fwd line time and time again.

West coast tend to have a lot of runners from defence, so they dont always look for him to provide that run.

Who would you suggest for around the same $276,000?

Too many first year players in your starting side, what you going to get from them? 40-50? Thats about it. You also have too much spent in your midfield, esp your top 3. I'd also swap around Kozi and Hansen. McLeod is also a waste of money, doubtful he will pick up as many possies as last year.

i disagree, he has got himself superfit and you will find he will be playing in the midds alot more this year.

Can anyone suggest a better dream team player then David Rodan at the same price or lower? I really have my doubts about him getting a game let alone game time, is there anyone better at this price? This is all I can budget for unfortunately as it is my last choice to complete my team, cheers.

Re: players to look out for in dream team 07

$438,000 Left

Backline: Hunt(170 left for a centre)
Walker(160 Left for a centre)

hmm. not ready to go yet is he?

i am not sure.

but he has played 6 finals matches
and word is he is over his ACL injury of 2005
worth a punt - for 82300, even if he starts as reserve.

value should rise if he gets game time in the midfield.

Get Gibbs Instead.

I thought about that, but judging by preseason form he hasn't showed he is much of a possesion getter (yet). He is excellent at the one percenters like tackling, sheparding but that doesn't win you dream team points. Do you really think he will earn more points then the rodent? I have watched Rodan in his preseason games and he seems to find the ball quite regularly however I'm just not sure whether he will fit into the powers line up?? Port fans maybe able to answer that one? thoughts people?

It is all good and well to select a player who will get game time & eventually increase in value, however, I advise that you get a definite starter by RD 1... Hypothetically speaking, Hadley doesn't play his first game until Round 5, in the interim, your starter from RD 1 has increased by $80k+. $80k+ is worth a trade IMO & then you select Hadley, who will replicate the above mentioned example...

It is the only way you can seriously shake the top of the leaders board... you need to make at least 10 trades throughout the year to make cash. The rest is for LTI's...

There's my 2 cents worth...

how many times have i heard that on this forum :) i wouldnt bother with x.clarke, upgrade and get someone better.

Right now, my team is nearly full of all premiums.
I have about 6 players who are not classified or priced as a premium, but they have the ability to score like one.
Therefore, i only really need to use 12 trades (6 for cash, 6 for upgrading) in order to get my team full off 22 GUNS.
With all this being said, i need luck with injuries.
I am so, so excited to get the ball rolling.

luenberger or ryder?

please help :)

and what are peoples opinions on dawson and egan and are there better alternatives to those two. I have them in my team but dont think they are right.

Due to the salary cap being so bloody large I think alot of people are in the same boat.

Those 6 'not so premiums' will make or break sides.

i need help with my backline anyone got opinions on egan and dawson and if there are better alternatives?

Dont bother with those guys.

Is this for your bench? If so wait until the teams are named and get some 83k guy who is playing this week.
