it would be smart to trade off joel bowden now as he will be playing full back and wont get the cheap possies like last year but if u are going to trade him u will probly be picking him back up mid year after we get our tall defenders back.

What are peoples thoughts on Justin Sherman? I got him at the start of the year, thinking that he would have increased time in the midfield this year. So far however, he has played in the forward line (from what I have seen).

He was pretty expensive ($340K), and has only scored ~70 over his two games so far. I see his price dropping a fair bit, so would it be smart to trade him out before the drop? Im thinking of swapping him for someone like Fiora to free up a lot of cash. Would allow me to pick up one of the in form forwards (like BJ).

Worth the trade?

Anyone?

surely since the saints have changed coaches, fiora simply has a new role which will mean he continues to earn big points... not a bad choice IMO

and with jacobs, the 150 was not just a one off. someone said he had 4 good games, 8 bad games... i think wot u actually mean is (out of 9 games) 3 games between 101-116, 4 between 53-78, one shocker of 37 and a one where he went off injured (15 points).

only reason i'm not considering him is coz he's too injury prone and inconsistent. i agree that he won't be getting over 100 every week, but 1/3 of games last year is pretty good, and he seems to be getting better

I am thinking if J.Bowden doesn't play well this week i will trade him for heath shaw if he racks up the stats and points again this week :)

Anyone in Perth listening to AM radio now?

Dean Cox was spotted Jet Skiing down near Point Walter today (South of Perth). I reckon if he is fit enough to muck around on the ocean with a jet ski, he should be fit enough to play.

Interesting :p

Thats what everyone said about Fisher, and he got 95 last night. One poor game and everyone ****s there dacks and wants to trade...

if u go back and look at the start of the week i was the one sayin he is likely to come ut with a 75 + game and to hold onto him but i agree with you everyone is a bit too trade happy atm i havent traded yet and only plan on making one or two next week then barring injuries will not trade for a period

I hope he doesn't. He's more comfortabe playing loose across the backline and ofcourse where he gets more possesions and marks!!!

lol, well der you'd hope that. unfortunately, not everyone gets to play the style that's best suited to them.

in fact, on the afl website there was an article where wallace said he was not going to be able to play the type of footy he likes to play, but will make the boys change their style to match the swans.

so basically, no kick to kick, but lots of tackles. for bowden, this means a big fat

and im not just saying that to stress out the people who bought him, coz i did too

but hopefully im wrong, and he does get some cheaps marks and kicks in there somewhere

S.Fisher is now likely to get the no.1 forward because of Hughton and Maguire both out with injuries.

Which means less points.
