AFL Dream Team 2008: Part 2

Trade frenzy is startng for me this week.
Looking to use 5 trades in the next three weeks which would leave me with 12 for 14 rounds with just Palmer, Rioli and Gamble to upgrade.

This week it wil be:

Reimers (who is on my bench) to a rookie (no idea who)
Bowden to P.Burgoyne
Leaving me with around 180k

I hadn't intended on trading Bowden, but being a man down in defence and him not even being named on the extended bench has me considering it's time for him to go.

Should I go:
Bowden -> King (make 15k, King looking like a top 4 defender)
Ellis -> Goddard
Then next week,
Hill -> Brad Johnson (neither should change in price all that much)

OR

Ellis -> Goddard
Hill - BJ,
take the zero and hope Bowden comes back in sooner rather than later.

Thoughts?

Yeah way too sideways, IMO Kennelly and Symes are both decent enough to keep the entire year, but If you were to trade them it would have to be to a player much better than gilbee

So would Bradshaw/Symes to Milburn also be to sideways?

I still wouldn't get any guns this week, with the big game next week.

There WILL be injuries... probably more then usual too.

Going to take a chance & keep Hill a bit longer as there isn't much around to downgrade him for atm. Will sit back & see how the first gamers that are playing this week goes b4 I make my decision & even if Hill was to equal his lowest score 47pts. he will only go down by approx. $6.5k.
You never know he might blitz them & score 100+
Worth the risk of waiting imo.(I hope)

Hartlett/Hansen to Ibbo is looking like being my only trade.

Doesnt really matter if he is inconsistent.. at the end of the day (season) scores arnt done from consistency, but most points overall. 130 one week and 70 the next is just as good as 100 2 weeks in a row, at the end of the day

got 2 injured players on the bench (Dew, who was named an emg and Jetta) who do you think i should ditch out of the 2 to make sure i have a playing emg..... who do you think will be back sooner? Dew will have a decent price jump in his next game....

Also, any word with how long N>Lappin is expected to be out for?

Agree Kangas. This only matters when you're picking your original team. You steer clear of these players at the start because they are easier to trade in with price fluctuations.

Option 1:
Out Bowden and Ellis
In Goddard and Milburn

Option 2:
Out Dyson and Morton
In Kornes and Cheapie (Browne)
Cop the 0 in the backs and hope Bowden gets a game next week

Has anyone traded out Ellis for Ibbotson this week?
Wouldn't be a bad move as they're scoring pretty similar, if not Ibbo higher and your pocketing 100k.
But then you'd have to upgrade him again later anyway....hmm

so i have priddis and dont want to keep playin with houli an palmer on my feild so priddis has to go
