Funnily enough, I have none of those.
Who do you have at D3 after Lloyd and Laird?

I’m leaning this way as well. Have Williams at D4 for now but will probably look at a similar change should Preuss’s injury be serious.[QUOTE="TheRednWhite, post: 68790079, member: 178760" Just going to bite the bullet and use the Whit cash to upgrade Preuss to Gawn.
news broke this morning....bradkli posted a massive pic on the previous page, couldn't miss it.I’m leaning this way as well. Have Williams at D4 for now but will probably look at a similar change should Preuss’s injury be serious.
When did Preuss get injured?

And so it begins....knowing the Giants, he will probably need a shoulder reconstruction
Will now need a complete team restructure.
I've gone with ROB.and Marshall will miss the start of the season....yep Gawndy just about locked now. Only other ruck I'm considering is ROB.
Taranto is in a different price bracket from Rowell though, more than 100k difference. It’s not a simple toss up between the two I feel. I currently have both because I think both are significantly underpricedAs much as I realise 50% of coaches have Rowell, I'm tossing up between he and Taranto. I feel Taranto has more upside as Rowell is likely to cop a few tags this year. Taranto won't.
With all these injuries my team has changed a fair bit, especially the midfield where ive previously had Oliver, Adams, Steele, Treloar & M.Crouch in there (not all at the same time though) and now ive gone to a combination of Merrett, Titch, Walsh, Taranto, Rowell & Heppell with 2 rookies. Rucks are now Gawndy and my back & forward lines have changed a little bit too given the flow on effect from Marshall's injury.
With the injuries to both Pruess and Marshall, I have seen the need to change my ruck to a set and forget pair. In order to get the cash I need to drop Rowell which will enable me to start with ROB. Alternatively, I can drop Taranto and start with Gawn. Decisions, decisions.Taranto is in a different price bracket from Rowell though, more than 100k difference. In that case, surely you back Taranto (who has gone 110+ before) over a rookie who has played only 5 games. But this game really burns you when you apply such logic. Both are just such good value, is there no way you can keep both and drop some other spud? With the injuries to both Pruess and Marshall, I have seen the need to change my ruck to a set and forget pair. I could drop Atkins to a rooky and then upgrade Cunnington back to Rowell. With Cunnington being priced at 53.5 and is likely to go 85+ this year. Does that represent better value than a guy who has only played 5 games who's priced at 63.5. Sure, he could go 100 but I'd be surprised if he is allowed to run free as he did last year.In that case, surely you back Taranto (who has gone 110+ before) over a rookie who has played only 5 games. I just couldn't help myself with the value in the mids and just picked everyone. Zerrett is my only true full priced premo, everyone else is underpriced.I could drop Atkins to a rooky and then upgrade Cunnington back to Rowell. The other thing to consider here also is that Atkins has a huge upside as well.
My mids are similar to yours. Zerrett for the C option, Gaff for his consistency, Kelly and Taranto for their value,I just couldn't help myself with the value in the mids and just picked everyone. Zerrett is my only true full priced premo, everyone else is underpriced.
Zerrett, Taranto, Rowell, Cunnington, Hately, Heppell, Atkins, Phillips.
Allows me to field only 2 true rookies and have Gawndy in the rucks.
Also currently have 100k odd in the bank so if someone like F.Macrae or Powell show that they can be trusted on field early on, I can just easily upgrade a failed midpricer to someone like Gaff.
My midfield is quite similar to yours. I've currently got Zerrett for that captain option, Gaff for his consistency, then Kelly, Taranto, Cunnington and Heppell for their value. Atkins falls into that value category and then round it out with the best rooky.I just couldn't help myself with the value in the mids and just picked everyone. I've now gone for a little change in the midfield. Gaff is super reliable for a 100 plus score everytime he goes on to the park except for the times when the opposition decide to tag him. Then you can guarantee he won't get over 60. It only happened three times last year but it may occur more often this year. I've now decided to go with a fair dinkum POD in Duncan with only 1% of ownership. Good thing with Duncan is that he is pretty consistent and he won't ever need to worry about a tag.I just couldn't help myself with the value in the mids and just picked everyone. Thanks for the info. I hadn't read anything about Duncan's injury worries. I still can't find anything about Duncan on the Cat's website. I'll ask on the bigfooty site.I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Duncan won’t play round 1...he’s done a calf twice this pre-season...he may even miss the first couple of rounds...I really wanted to start with him as well, but I’ve gone with Sam Walsh. With Cripps back to full fitness and Zac Williams added to the midfield mix, Walsh in his third season is due to explode..signs were there last season
Like Bradkli said, Duncan has had calf issues twice this preseason. His output probably would have dropped a bit anyway with the addition of Higgins and Danger presumably back playing predominantly midfield.I've now gone for a little change in the midfield.
