Agreed. Never watched basketball in my life until I started playing NBA Live 04.

Now I'm hooked.
 
Love NBA games and FIFA games but still don't follow those sports. It was the NHL games since probably '12 that got me into watching Ice Hockey, and to a lesser extent the NFL games have got me semi into watching the NFL.
 
Thanks for all the comments. A few quick things: Yes this is the official Wicked Witch account, a few us will jump on between late night pizzas, weekends and mountains of cola and energy drink cans. Yes the Fan Hub will allow creating full teams and line ups, and it is cross platform. No there will not be a stadium editor in this version - it has been discussed, and we can look into that again more you all think its worth it, in time. :) It is great to have an updated Dennis Cometti is the main commentator again and the addition of Mathew Richardson as the colour commentator. We will try and release more bits and pieces and info leading up to Christmas, but to be honest a gameplay teaser or early footage is most likely going to be in the new year. Cheers!

Shed some more info on the Pro career mode Wicked Witches? Are you going to start as a 16 or 18 year old in the TAC cup and work your way up with consistant performances and go through the draft to start your career? Or is it going to be more in the mold of, create a player, pick the side you want to play with and start from the AFL season

Commentator 1: I'm tipping.... West Coast.... to win today. What do you think?
Commentator 2: I'll disagree. I'm tipping... the Eagles.

I really hope it's the former option.
 
And on that note of the Pro career, it would be even better if you played well enough to earn better contracts, and thus giving you more opportunity to buy shiny boots, sleeve and neck tats, the jumper number you want (instead of an allocated high number when drafted) etc for your player. So there's reward for effort for the career instead of just dominating an "easy mode" kind of thing.
 
In both the career mode and the pro mode, you can start as an U18, work your way up, play for the VFL and eventually get drafted into an AFL Team, some contract stuff as well to try and get traded onto your desired team or if you get dropped etc. You can also play as an existing player, or go strait into the AFL Premier League if you want to. Yeah commentary can be tough, but like everything else, it is improved and better than before, and we are getting it as good as we can!

I love everything about this

Anything you can say in regards to WAFL,SANFL etc being in the game?
I remember someone saying there was difficulty getting the licence for those in Live 2

Or allow us to replace GC17 with a TassieDevils19 team.
 
That commentary line up is so un-exciting, sick of Cometti on the games and he is retiring from commentary anyway. And hoping the stats are a little more realistic this time around. First afl live game had too many tackles and afl live 2 had too many marks.
