WHAT ABOUT MITCHELL LEWIS. And Stewart would be in the mid to high 60s i reckon

Did any of the previous AFL games have changing stats like a lot of other sports games have?

Not at all fussed if its in this one at release, just hoping for that decent playing game, but still it'd be cool (if stats actually affect anyithing) if there was a semi-random progression where young players improve and peak players eventually decline especially if it was linked to performances in-game.

Live 2 did. Had player skill and potential, and if you trained them a lot and played them a lot, they'd develop. Im in season 2021 on my iphone and O'Meara is 91, Tom Mitchell 89, Brendan Whitecross 88. Players didn't decline though, so even though I had Luke Hodge playing until 2020, he stayed in the high 80s

That would definitely be a nice feature to have during season modes. In the be a pro mode, for instance, it would be your job to take a kid with poor stats and build him through the TAC Cup and then the AFL system by playing games and training.

O'Meara is severely overrated here...

Some of the IR Gurus ones did I'm pretty sure. Seem to remember training the players and increasing their values. But they also had the glitch where sometimes players got injured which dropped their ratings down to the minimum and they never got better.

I remember in AFL Premiership 2006, I had Shane Crawford pull a hamstring and he was out for 320 weeks or something like that

Just stop with these ratings. It's clogging up this thread and people are getting pissed off.

I don't really know how you don't understand that player rating won't make the slightest difference to this game, the gameplay will. And by going off past AFL games, wicked witch need all the help they can get in that regard, not stats.

Stop complaining. I know the gameplay is the most important thing but some people actually care about what players are rated in game. It all adds up.

Did you watch mitchell and burgoyne in finals? Why is vickery 81?? Bid boy 80?? And you dont see much in burton i guess

As shit as those games may have been I sunk hours and hours into them growing up

If WW can take a multi year premiership mode like those games had but combine it with good gameplay and graphics then it'll be a time sink again

I can understand what your saying with Burgoyne, I will put him up to 86. Tom Mitchell i'm not so sure. Tom Mitchell found himself in a very good midfield at the Swans so attention was probably prioritised elsewhere. He is a very good player hence, I rated him 83. But remember Craig Bird's great form with the Swans in 2015? I'm don't think he will find things quite so easy at the Hawks.
