Deal confirmed.

The Cats welcome key position player Jade Rawlings, exciting youngster David Rodan, outstanding forward option Patrick Bowden, and the 18th selection in the upcoming National Draft to our promising list.

Unfortunately, though, due to the merger, some players feel that they have a better chance of success elsewhere. Damian Cupido, David Spriggs, Danny Jacobs and Steven Johnson were four such players, and we wish them all the best at their new home

WINDY HILL NEWSFLASH

The Windy Hill Cats have made their first trade ever...on a Tuesday.

Darren Milburn, after seeing himself on the "Probables" list that the club released, realised that he didn't fit in with the club's new youth policy, and has agreed to haul his sorry, old carcass down to the Whitten Oval.

The Cats have been more than compensated, though, as they have picked up ultra-fit midfielder Daniel Cross. After reviewing his fitness results over the last couple of years, where he has finished first in every fitness test the Bulldogs have ran, the Cats decided to pursue Cross, who will be a great addition to their midfield.

The "Possibles" and "Probables" lists have been updated to reflect this change

The Western Bulldogs have been able to strike a deal with Collingwood. They welcome Shane Woewodin at the expense of Matthew Carr.

WINDY HILL NEWSFLASH

The Windy Hill Cats and Fremantle Dockers have brokered a trade.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gary Ablett and Matthew McCarthy are heading over to Perth. The Cats are sorry to lose players of such magnitude, but we feel that they have been adequately replaced.

Mark Alvey and Graham Polak, a young speedster and the best up-and-coming defender in the game, are now Windy Hill Cats. This will cause some angst amongst other recruiting managers, especially those west of Victoria, but trading is a dog-eat-dog world, and some people just get too greedy.

Awaiting confirmation of said trade

WINDY HILL NEWSFLASH

The Windy Hill Cats, masters of the controversial trade deal, have come up with the most controversial trade of all...

THE VEALE DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cats have got some hard nuts into the club, in the form of former Hawthorn youngsters Campbell Brown and Lance Picioane, as well as tall superstar of the future, Lochlan Veale.

They also had the added luxury of getting rid of some of the "soft" Geelong element of the club. Outside midfielders Joel Corey and James Bartel have left, with the Club preferring players who can get their own ball.

When asked about this controversial deal, Windy Hill Recruiting Manager Dog Man said this:

"What's so controversial about it. We've already got Jade Rawlings!! And if Veale turns into a good player, then you're all going to have egg on your faces, aren't ya!!"

The Probables and Possibles list is being updated as we speak, and the Richmond Hawks are preparing a press statement to welcome their new recruits
