It just seems like the EB's of Brisbane have given up before the race has even been run.
In the FAQ; page 2 I see thisHas a 4 v 4 Online Multi player.
4 for Xbox local - 8 online max (4 v 4)
7 for PS3 local - 8 online max (4 v 4)
For the private match can we have 7 on one PS3 and 1 on the other?Private match allows you to invite friend(s) and you are able to play up to 8 players - this even gives you the ability to play 8 players against the AI. This is 4 players on each console - but you can have any combination of players on either team. This is unranked.
Probably a stupid question but when the ball is on the floor do you pick it up automatically or is there a button
p.s haven't seen anyone do it can you soccer the ball in this game
No button for dodging, but you can fend off players. (giving the 'dont argue', breaking tackles)To anyone who knows,
Is their a button for dodging in the game, because if their is it seems like no one is using it?

I appreciate what you're saying, and I recognize that the market here is far narrower than inter-state, but they are really giving themselves no hope at all.
The vast, vast majority of people in Brisbane wouldn't even know this game exists, and whilst a large portion of them wouldn't care about it either, it's probably fair to assume that some of them could be interested.
The only way I can see a QLD store making any ground on this game is by advertising it. It doesn't have to be much, like you say just a couple of slicks, but that's plenty more than any store I've seen.
It just seems like the EB's of Brisbane have given up before the race has even been run.
They haven't given up, they are just playing to their strengths....
Last year while the RLL advertising was out, we had an entire bay dedicated to coming soon titles in the lead in to the Xmas rush. Space enough for 27 different titles if we wanted
Yet i only put RLL up when i ran out of boxes for other titles, and even then it was tucked in the bottom corner.
I put the stuff that was going to make me the most money in the best spots at eye level. COD, FIFA, AC BH, NFS
Why would a QLD store waste a space (now we only have space for 9 titles) on a game that might get them a few orders?
Why not leave it for:
Duke Nukem, Portal 2, Crysis 2, Red Faction, NFS Shift 2 and up until this week, Homefront, Shogun
It just wouldn't make sense from a business view
I have a big AFL presence in my store, due to it being the main game in WA, but i wouldn't expect it to take precedence in NSW or QLD. It would be a last resort "no other slicks left to put out thing"
And thats not being unfair on the AFL game itself, or not giving it a chance, its just smart
Thats understandable. My local EB (Melbourne) has like 6 covers for it in PS3, 360 n Wii total. The manager of the store has played it and he thinks its gonna be a great game he tries to get people to pre order but he says it wont be the highlight game, and it wont get the recognition it deserves to.
you hold square (x on Xbox) I think. The play will automatically pick it up off the ground. As for the soccer u tap the kick button with a modifier I believe to soccer it off the ground but you can do it none the less.
Ahh 21st, revolving dance floor and girls of questionable morals from Langwarrin. Wonder if it's changed since?
OFF Topic: Spoke to someone today about it and aparently it is now a live thrash/heavy metal venue that smells like wee
I'm sorry to all for hijacking the thread, so i'll keep it to this:
It'll get the recognition best in Vic, SA and WA.
It's certianly be recognised at Midland. I really hope we can get a massive crowd there
To all WA guys, will post a date and time the moment its confirmed by Ross
If it starts at like 10 am and finishes at 2pm what is the best time to come because i live about an hour from midland.

Have any individual players rack up a ton of disposals in any of the games played?
I suppose it is hard with only 3 minute quarters. Would changing quarters to say 10 minutes give more realistic disposal counts but the trade off being that final match scores would be blown out?
