Will Ross be in attendance?

WHAT i pre orderd mine at JB HI FI and they said april 30th but then on the every website it said 21st of april is that true ??

Mr Footy, your posts lead me to believe that you haven't even looked at any of the posts in the thread or the FAQ.

21st is the official release date.

In all seriousness though, AWESOME! (except for Bate at FF. seriously? lol)

Bate ripped it up yesterday when we played as him (as MelbourneMartin can attest to!). Kicked 3 goals and had the chance for more.

Question:

Does the AI sub players?? It does yeah? What is their rotation? High normal or low?
AFL 2007 didn't sub players until injured.

ALSO when changing teams - making some players a bit better etc. IS IT easy to see if you are UNDER the cap or not??
You can win trophies with changes as long as the team remains under the cap right?

The AI does sub players automatically. I'd say the rotation rate seems right for a game that goes by a lot faster than in real life. There's a good amount of rotations and for the most part they seem to be the right changes, certainly not all based on just injuries.

And it will be easy to see if your 'edited' team is under the salary cap.

I have not seen this game yet, but after watching some of the video's and screenshots i dont think i can wait another 20 days. At least now i have something to look forward too. Well done Ross this is a terrific game, and all the info you have given us is terrific stuff. I hope this isnt the only game af AFL you guys will develop.

One thing that i dont really like is the fact that there is no franchise mode in the ps3 and xbox versions. But hopefully there are more games with a franchishe mode or a carear mode.

and quick question i know when you are having a set shot from goal you flick the right stick like in madden but how do you shoot when running into goal.also can someone briefly explain the power bar to me

Not sure where you read that you use the analog stick for set shots?

Dont flick the stick at all to goal, Square (dunno waht it is on xbox) is always kick.

There is no flick the right stick...don't know where you got this from...

But kicking for goal is square, whether in play or set shot.
