Question about the game, sorry as it's been covered but I don't know the exact phrase/wording to search for. Looking at the FAQ thread now, it sounds like you can but I want to confirm.

With the custom teams you make can you play seasons in the AFL with them if you choose a bunch of AFL listed players? I just thought it may be weird with lists losing a lot of players (and key players of course) and how it gets around this (are regens made to replace them etc).

I pre ordered on EB website, im getting it delivered to my place. Does anyone think they will send it when they get it?

Whenever a team is edited, it is duplicated. So, for example, if you want to remove Judd from Carlton, a new Carlton side will be placed in the custom teams area whilst the "real" Carlton remains unchanged. So, unless you de-select any teams you modify from participating in your season, and replace them with the modified versions you have created, they will remain unchanged with all the same players.

On that "regens" note, from what I can gather, each team has X number of players on the list (I'm pretty sure it's 40) no more, no less. So if you were to pinch a couple of gun players, you would have to swap a player from your list to keep everything even.

I wouldn't ignore these threads you may miss out on info likes store has broken street date.

The local Gippsland town I live in, the EB games has broken street dates plenty of times, one of my mates asked when it would be released , they said 21st, he said he was on holidays that day right until end of easter, he paid 100 upfront, and they told him he could pick the game up Monday/Tues 5pm if they had the stock in yet. So fingers crossed

Sale, My mates going in during day Monday or Tues, so will let you know if he is successful. I guess it depends on who he gets served by, one person might say yes you can have it early, another might say no street date can't be broken.

Ralphysaints, if you were keen on trying to get the game early, you could call the Sale EB and say that Big W etc have released the game in morwell etc and they would probably believe you and sell you the game. It is a very small EB games , from what some

Evil 5 , NBA 2k11, and cricket 2010.

First time I have Pre ordered a game. Oh I purchased FIFA 11 in London whilst I was living over there last year. I just borrow games of my cousin who is continually Pre ordering games and trying to get them early too

its not going to hurt any one to be honest if 1 store breaks it.

AH bugger. no good have already pre-ordered and paid most of it in morwell EB games. may go there monday see if i can pay it all off and pick it up monday if they have it in stock.
 
Haha funny 3 of us on here all in gippsland. good thing about this is one finds out a date has been broken we can travel 10 - 20 mins down the road and get it earlier then expected!
 
I will comment on here as soon as possible on Monday/ Tuesday and let you know if my mate was successful. I mean he may have been told by an inexperienced employee etc and when it comes to actually picking the game up he may see the manager, who in turn might not give it to him. I guess it depends on how strict they have been told from HQ about the date I assume?
 
it was asked earlier but no one answered.....if you order it online from eb or dick smith etc...does the game get sent out before release date....ie will you have it 21st april at your door?
