I get mine back in 2 days so this game be firing up again.I can't wait to tell you the truth.Going to use premiership coach as my trade table tool from here on in.So if anyone still plays hit me up and I'll help you build some new lists.Willing to create players for a draft also.

Watched a few online match videos, I noticed a'lot of spammer's , They seem to just hold X or Square to kick the ball and punch out of the ruck.Which makes it way to easy to score goals.How many of you do this ?
 
I've had a lot of bumpers lately, played a guy earlier who bumped every chance he could and he beat me by 37, messages him how annoying all the bumping is and that. The result would be different if he hadn't of bumped. To his credit we played another match without bumps, I ended up winning by 23 after I was up by 46 at 3 quarter time due to him blocking the mark and tackling me after marks.

Just really frustrates me having to play against people who continuously bump.
 
Bloody hell i'm sick of the game freezing, I was just deep in the last quarter of a tense Qualifying Final and it froze with me 3 points behind. :mad:

Played a game where the other guy was lagging big time, but it didn't make the game impossible. Off to a great start, few goals up, then I tackle him, he kicks a goal, ump calls in the back, he/she gets another shot at goal and both goals count. Then I'm 1 point up in the last in the back pocket, trying to hit up a lead and I must have hit the joystick or something because I end up snapping the ball over my head for a point. /fail
 
Lol. Sounds like the old games with that old NAB Cup rule. I loved that rule.

Anyone fearful that the online community will drop off? People are already "having enough" of quitters, plus there are some guys that just destroy other teams. I find that I'm either playing someone who exploits rules, 2 on 1s, or noobs who I can comfortably beat. I can't even "dumb down" for noobs either because they are just so laughably bad (was playing a guy named afghan_mafia or something and after kicking the first 8 goals, I eased up to keep him interested, but he was really bad... I stopped using sprint and spoil and he still sucked and gave up in the 3rd).

I'm just concerned that people are dropping this. Sure, we have a core online community here, but once footy season is over, interest will wane.

ive noticed it takes a bit longer to get a game these days. had a funny online game last night against collingwood, had to use wireless and the game was lagging badly, at one stage the camera stayed in my forward line and wouldnt move while i could hear all the action going on up the field through the commentry, basically the guy kicked 3 goals while i couldnt do or see anything! camera eventually went back to centre was 2 points up in the last quarter with about 1 min game time left, went into his forward line, he kicked the ball and was bouncing through the goals, my player picked it up before the line and i rushed it through, the game then scored him a goal and gave me a kickout, so ended up losing by 5 points!!!

That's the thing.... 'The patch will fix this'....

Gotta love using that line....

But if the stories are true.... we'll be better matched when we go to play online.... so the community will continue to be encouraged to play.

Still.....we all have each other from the League on our friends list.... makes for some interesting games.... even if it's without an XP reward.
 
Thought I'd pop on at 4:00am for a game. Bad idea. :eek:

The second one I got was a 3v1. Luckily none of them had any idea how to play the game. The two midfielders ran forward (who saw that coming?) but the ruckman was utter shite. I was able to tap it down to one of my midfielders, run about 20m, handball it off over the top and kick goals.

Won by over 100 in the end.
 
Down by 2 points with about 20 seconds left (rl) and Hurley marks on the 50. As I'm lining up the guy runs up to the mark to block my kick, meaning I couldn't get the angle I want. Get as close as I can, load up and hit the post.

Yeah, hopefully the community we're building here will sustain itself. :thumbsu: Had some crackers (and some shellackings) at the hands of many of the guys here. :p
 
Not having xbl live for a month didnt hurt my online skills and truly the first game i got back online with was a 3 on 1 game them as Collingwood and myself as Port. The month off online must have done me some good i was picking off targets and i was kicking those 50 on the boundary goals with Hamish Hartlett and Danyle Pearce off the kick outs. I ended up winning by 40 odd points after leading by 60 at 3 quarter time but it was fun being back online then the next 5 games i had them quit on me in the 3rd as i led by 4 goals or about that
 
Snuck a few games in today.

Had one loser block 10 shots, and Pods kicked 5 because the fool didnt learn he is a left foot kick. Smashed the guy by 10 odd goals.

Jeez, I've got to feel for you. :(

It's a shocking feeling. And I thought losing my stats were bad. :eek:


For those Xbox lads out there, we desperately need one more player to join the competition as one person has just pulled out. You are able to join as any of the unselected teams. The competition is set to get started on Sunday.

Just a quick tip for shot-blockers, i'm sure some have tried but it just worked for me pretty well, just open up the angle a bit and torp it...it's still a pretty accurate kick, you just need to give more left/right for the natural arc of the ball. Just avoided 2 blocks by doing so, but you have to be quickish or they'll realise and move:thumbsu:

Just feel it's a matter of time before mine go tbh.

What happened when yours were reset? Anything specific?

I'd hate to lose my 520k XP as well as almost 250 games worth of stats, would put the ranked online out of my zone for a fair while. Really hope the patch can hit before mine go...

No, nothing specific that I can recall.
 
I've been playing this game for over a month and I'm in a really frustrating position. When I play on professional I find it too easy and win by 10+ goals everytime. When I play on veteran I can't win a game for the life of me. Any tips?

By the way, I've hardly played any online. What difficulty is online most similar to?

Get online ul improve right away once u start playing against human opponents



Also... has anyone heard whats happening with drparrots psn comp?
 
I live in Japan and want to get a copy of this game. If my friend brings a copy from Australia, will it work on my Japanese Xbox 360?
