Even though the old AFL games weren't the best, i did like how each year the fixture was mixed up, except for playing collingwood v carlton at telstra dome or something. so hopefully they do mix up the fixture each season
New to bigfooty. Awesome info here on the game. So pumped.
Question for Ross: What things did you guys at BigAnt learn from the previous AFL games? eg. Which camera angles worked/didn't, game physics engine and so forth. Did you guys use these as a starting point on what to/not to do?
Quick Q...we can remove that triangle above players heads right?
Certainly, by playing a game of AI vs AI
(otherwise not)
Surely simply changing the color of the players name can indicate who you are controlling or somthing other than the arrow (assuming thats what the arrow is for)
When you have players running all over the place, especially when you have more than 4 human players, it's too hard in an instant to recognise them by colour on a name. Player switching also is a hassle. We tried many combinations to work out what worked best.
highly doubt it Ross, I don't think Darwin knows that yet. Can you just tell me if we are going to get a Freo Screenie? If not, I'll have to wait

Any chance that the BigFooty session to come down to BigAnt Studios and have a go of the game is back on at all? With the SMH guy coming down and being able to play, plus the game obviously being a lot close to release than previously, now would seemingly be close to the best chance to get a go of it.
So, any possibility of it going ahead?
Ant and Galon (Galon could probably go if he's located in Melbourne - should Ant not be able to make it down from QLD) would no doubt be able to pick a nice cross-section of players.I am hoping it will but I can't promise anything. The hardest part will be picking the particpants, we would want a cross-section of avid gamers to noobs to see how people fare.

From the looks of this thread the n00bs wouldn't be hard to pick at all.
James Stewart would be my no.1 pick.
