Hi, This is my AFL 2013 Mod for FIFA 13.
What it includes -
1. All 18 teams of the AFL
2. Roughly 300 official players, with age, height, weight.
3. All logos are transparent unlike a lot in creation center
4. Kits are as genuine as possible
Player percentages will get roughly monthly updates.
Any feedback, Help, And general chat would be highly appreciated. I have spent more than 7 months working on this So I've spent a long time doing this! And any comments would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I'm not 100% sure, but you may be required to buy the 800 points creation center pack to do this, This is a full league of teams and players, It can transform your whole entire game into a soccer version of our great game, with tones of our good players, And logos, and colours.
You should be able to download this tournament on all main versions of the game, PC/PS3/360.
Enjoy!

Awesome work BJ, will look forward to trying this out.

Just having a look at Melbourne's line up, there's probably a few players missing/shouldn't be there...this'd be mine:

(4-3-1-2)
Frawley (80)
Grimes (78) McDonald (76) Watts (74) Nicholson (70)
Trengove (75) Jones (81) Viney (75)
Howe (76)
Clark (80) Blease (72)

Reserves:
GK - Jamar (74)
CDM - McKenzie (75)
CB - Dunn (74)
ST - Dawes (72)
CB - Garland (70)
CAM - Sylvia (76)
CAM - Tapscott (69)
CM - Bail (70)
GK - Gawn (67)
RB - Macdonald (68)
LB - Strauss (68)
CM - Magner (67)

Then shite. :D

Some other things, Richmond has two Cotchins, the Bulldogs have a few incorrect names/players (Josh Hill, Brad Wallis), GWS has Kurt Tippett and there's a couple of other players such as Dean Polo and Michael Doughty floating around.

Great work so far. :thumbsu:

Ok, so I've been going through the lists and there's a few things that I think need to be cleaned up.

First things first, looking at my own team of the Tigers, as mentioned by Eth there's 2 Cotchin's, there's also two Martin's, two Ty Vickery's and Jack Riewoldt is no.27 (actually no.8), Chris Newman is no.17 (now no.1 after relinquishing captaincy), Jake King is no.15 (actually no.28), Chris Knights is no.8 (actually no.15). I'd also personally have Alex Rance as GK and not Newman (I think Newman could go to the bench - would also have him as a CDM now), would also put Dylan Grimes and Stephen Morris into the side.

I'd maybe go for a 3-4-3 Diamond formation with the Tiges and have it lineup as such:
Rance (GK)
Morris (RCB) - Chaplin (CB) - Grimes (LCB)
Deledio (RM) - Cotchin (CAM) - Tuck (CDM) - Martin (LM)
Vickery (RW) - Riewoldt (ST) - Edwards (LW)

SUBS
Maric (GK)
Jackson (CDM)
Foley (RM)
Houli (RCB)
Conca (LM)
King (LW)
Grigg (CAM)
Newman (CDM)
Batchelor (LCB)
McGuane (ST)
Knights (RW)

I think one thing, looking deeper into the attributes that you need to pump up as well, are the acceleration and sprint speed stats. Deledio for example is only 50 acc. and 47 sprint speed when he's easily one of the fastest players in the competition. A lot of players all round (in the league) tend to have pretty slow acceleration and sprint speeds in fact, so I'd almost look at a universal bump of 10-15 for most players and really focussing on the actual pacey players in each team and making sure they're at minimum above 75 with a maximum of 90 for the real speedsters.

There are some weird juxtaposing speed stats for other teams too. Looking quickly, someone like Beau Waters has 37 acceleration but 93 sprint speed. While Nic Naitanui has 89 acceleration and only 39 sprint speed. I think you need some more consistency with these.

For each team I'd also have a designated free kick taker, which would easily be referred to as your main goalkicker in the team (either that or the best kick - so a WCE would have Hurn or Kennedy potentially). Basically just giving them stats that you would assume as their set shot stats. So for Richmond, I'd have Jack Riewoldt's free kick taking stats high (so FK Acc. up to around 80-90, Power around 80-90, Curve around 75-80).

I also think that for certain players you need to get the traits and specialisaties spot on. So for example Dustin Martin and Brett Deledio would have a long shot trait, someone like Jack Riewoldt would have the Flair trait, someone like Justin Koschitzke would have the injury prone trait. I found this link that should help you find those specialisaties and traits and get them where they need to be easier: http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showthread.php?t=171103

I'd be happy to work with you on refining some of these deeper attributes to get them more spot on. I don't think the overalls are that bad, but I do think the stats inside that could be worked on some more just to get them more comparable to their real life counterparts.

Interesting idea mate, well done! I guess you ranked players purely based on their AFL skill, not their soccer skill (e.g. in days gone past Brad Green would have been a better soccer player relative to others than AFL)

Thanks guys! I'll be updating it sometime today I hope with some fixes.

For instance

- 2 Cotchin's, there's also two Martin's, two Ty Vickery's and Jack Riewoldt is no.27 (actually no.8), Chris Newman is no.17 (now no.1 after relinquishing captaincy), Jake King is no.15 (actually no.28), Chris Knights is no.8 (actually no.15).

- Add a couple of rookies from each side

- Some speed stats need to be changed as it's a little unrealistic

(Thanks for the support of people from the old topic, Whom has helped me come up with a lot of these bugs!) HBK619 Is one of the main contributers, Thank you!

Update time!!!

- Changed Mod name to AFL 2013 (Too many people trying to steal my hard work and duplicate there own)
- Fixed up duplicates in richmond
- Fixed Numbers in richmond
- Created and added Reece Conca + Houli
- Created and added rookie Nick Vlastuin to richmond's list, (Little lower rookie rating as not played yet)
- Changed formation, Moved players more so into positions they're playing now
- Changed a couple of port players stats,

Next update will hopefully see the likes of some rookies -

Dean Terlich (Melb), Jack Hutchins (Suns), Nicholas Kommer (Ess), Mark Blicavs (Cats), Daniel Currie (Roos), Jake Neade (Port), Brent Macaffer (Coll), Sam Dwyer (Coll), Sam Rowe (Carl), Jack Viney (Melb)

Few more fixes to be made BomberJosh.

Cotchin has been given no.66 (I'm guessing this is bugs and glitches in the Creation Centre system?), is really no.9.

Higgins for Bulldogs is no.16 but really no.7 (also Shaun not Sean). Griffen is no.22 but really no.16 (Also named Derry Griffin???). Easton Wood is no.19 but meant to be no.10.

There's a Joe Hudson in the Bulldogs team...no idea who that is??? Josh Hill is still at the Bulldogs, now at West Coast instead, also listed as a defender, when at WCE he'd be a striker.

Nick Lower still at Freo, now at Bulldogs.

North have an Adrian Grimaldi? Alexander Hansen? Mike Delaney? Jamie Greenwood? James White? Guessing these are meant to be Nathan Grima, Lachlan Hansen, Luke Delaney, Levi Greenwood and not sure on the last one. Also North have Ben Warren who was delisted at the end of last year.

Saints have a Filler Filler on their side. :p Maybe could throw in Dylan Roberton since he's been doing well for them so far. Saints also have Dean Polo who was delisted.

GWS has Kane Cornes, instead of Chad. Might be best just to get rid of the Cornes anyway as he's all but retired now. GWS also have Kurt Tippet, now at Sydney, never at GWS. James McDonald is also retired. Tom Scully named David Scully and Rhys Palmer named Ryan Palmer. Also has a bench of unknown and unlisted names, none of which are real GWS players. Could just go down a list of games played for GWS to pick out the one's to fit in there, would suggest guys like Taylor Adams, Tom Bugg, Dylan Shiel, Lachie Whitfield, Lachlan Plowman, Adam Treloar, Tim Mohr, Bret Thornton, Stephen Gilham.

Colin Garland at Melbourne is no.76 but really no.20. Jack Grimes is no.49 but really no.31. James Frawley is no.43 but really no.8. Jake Spencer is wrongly spelt Spenser.

Also, while playing a tournament with the teams, I got an injury that meant my player was out for 3 weeks and because there was no reserves to bring in, I had to forfeit every game that the player was injured for. So to save that issue I think you'll need to add one or two reserves.

That's basically everything I can see. Not a huge amount, but still some work obviously.

If you need anymore help I will gladly offer it up as this is really awesome to play with.

Just played my first game and was Crows VS Port. Won 5-0 with my first ever goal coming from Dangerfield. Very good to play with and loved it, some things i noticed

Doughty is Retired now
Andy Otton should be Andy Otten
Brad Ebert should be number 7 not 21
Boak is now number 1 not 10

Hopefully you'll out more players on like Brad Crouch, Talia, Sam Jacobs, Matthew Wright and possibly Josh Jenkins.

I really appreciate this mate. Thanks alot.

Fremantle: Barlow CM, Hill LM, Johnson CB for Duffield (who can play wide) and Mcphee is retired.
Geelong: Taylor and Lonergan CB with Enright and Mackie wide. Corey Selwood and Kelly Mid, with Chapman, Johnson Wings and Hawkins Goals. Bartel should be a CAM.

More to come sometime this week hopefully!

Thanks so much for all your help and kind words all!

Great mod, my mate and i have had fun playing it all week.

One thing i would suggest is to make Dustin Fletcher a GK.

one issue I did find when creating a tournament with these rosters was that when I had one player injured, there was no reserves on the squad for me to use as a replacement and i had to forfeit six matches.

I'm guessing this is fixed by either:

a) adding more players to the squad
b) changing the number of subs allowed for tournament?

Also, St Kilda squad needs a bit of an update. I'm happy to add my two cents if needed

Was fixed in that update above.

If you need to update you have to go back to where you got the league from to update it, the updates don't apply automatically.
