AFL Megastore

I had to go to Sydney today for a quick visit for a Visa application.

Caught the train to Kings Cross as I recall a great AFL store I think it was called the AFL Megastore but I couldn't find it does it still exist ?

Kept walking and made it to the SCG took a couple of pics. Took a photo of the Premiership flag and the Guernsey display in the Swans office.

Unfortunately couldn't get access to the Roos statue to get a good picture. Seems a waste having it behind locked gates.

So far I've made the trip 3 times to watch the Swans play in Sydney for three losses One to St Kilda by about 100 points one against Geelong to the biggest SCG crowd at the time and the Collingwood match this year. So want to see them win one on home soil as the Gabba dominance may be over.

Is there any other place in Sydney that sell a swag of Swans merchandise

I'm pretty sure there's no AFL megastores in Sydney. The Swans have a merchandise thing at the SFS (next door to the SCG) and then there's place like Rebel Sport and Peter Wynn's Score.

Thanks I didn't think to go to the SFS.

The megastore must have closed for business it was AFL and NRL megastore in Kings Cross Darlinghurst Road. Oh Well can always go to ebay.

Me thinks you are confusing the shop with an NRL SUPER STORE that used to be in the Cross. Surprisingly it was owned and operated by the Hare Krisnas who still have a presence in the area.
