Hi all,
Been reading this thread for a while now and finally came to terms that I need to start posting. I have 2 questions, first one is on how does the sweet spot bet on TAB work? I think I know but confirmation would be great.
Second, does any one know a site that will let you download the last 2 years worth of results on Excel.
Actually 3, obviously everyone's bank roll is different but what would you recommend as a unit? $10,$20,$50 or even $100? What would be the average do you think?
Can't wait to hear back from you guys and start posting some winners!!

Welcome.
Sweet Spot means that you need the final result to be in between the two lines. I believe it's usually a 3-goal buffer each way.

So for GWS/GCS it should be GWS + 48.5 & GCS -12.5, IOW you need GCS to win by 13 & 48 points for it to WIN, any other result is a loss.

Stakes are different for everyone. I started with very low stakes & have increased it in line with the increase in my bank roll. It was 1% for a long while for me, have boosted it up to 2%. Shouldn't be more than 5% but up to you.

Agreed, I think also what Willzzz is suggesting is that you should start of with 1% stakes so that if you incur losses or a losing run, it doesnt dent your confidence and you can learn from the mistakes without it costing you much at all.

So if your bank is $100, that $1 bets is fine, if your bank is $1000 then $10 and so on.

anyone likeover in carl wce also I like carlton any thoughts

I think Carlton will win, i like the look of the squad they picked.
Should go well on the fast track of Etihad.

Need this game to go over 185.5 and Carlton to lead at qtr time for my multi's to get up.
Will be a pretty good day then.

Leaning eagles personally. Trying to talk myself into it (or out of it)
So am I, but all this talk of a Carlton win is making me question my own thoughts. :p

I expect a close game though, Carlton are 1-4 and haven't looked the best while WC have slumped a little the last few weeks losing to Port and Geelong, both of the top 8 variety.

No Glass for WC is a big out, with Waite and Henderson hitting big on the scoreboard last week, they may be dangerous up forward again, while WC have Kennedy who kicked 1 goal 5 points last week, alongside Darling.

The game is at Etihad so you'd expect a slight Carlton advantage in that sense.

I'm still undecided!

My personal score predictor expects 95 WC to 91 Carlton... close to the bookies.

An under 15.5 points may be a good bet. Might chuck a bit on that.

West Coast (-3.5) and Sydney @$2.11 1U
Lance Franklin 3+ Goals and Carlton - WCE Over 185.5 @ @$3.03 0.5U

Relatively new to punting, had a big win on my free bet when I signed up but since then have been wasting a bit of money on some stupid risks
