- Spelling of Eric MacKenzie at the MRP MRP's comical stuff up

- Andy D reading out the wrong votes a couple of years ago.
- Umpire missing an interchange infringment last week (?)
-Closing down VFL park is biting the AFL on the backside at the moment

1996 - Centenary season (should have been in 1997, but that's another story).

Decided to hold a massive Centenary Ball - so they had it on the MCG. Erected a f*&cking huge marquee in the middle of the ground. Result- the ground turned into a bog and they were forced to re-locate the next weekend games to Waverley.

I've been following football a looooooong time, and I can't remember any other games being transferred from the MCG because of ground conditions.

That's true, but during the re-enactment round they claimed to be celebrating the "100th anniversary" of the first round of VFL matches. D'oh.

For example this weekend in Western Australia we will be able to watch the bottom of the table clash between West Coast and Brisbane simultaneously on Channel 10 analogue, Channel 10 digital, One HD and Fox Sports 1. We will not be able to watch the top of the table clash between Collingwood and Geelong at all.

are you kidding??

it's hardly the AFL's fault the lights went out (because of a car crash that knocked a power pole over), and how is the AFL involved in setting fire to the scoreboard??

The umpires donning pink for the Breast Cancer Awareness match, Melbourne vs Bulldogs earlier this year.

The red in Melbourne's jumper & socks had been changed from pink for the occasion, and there was a couple of instances of Demons players confusing an umpire for one of their own.

Was a major blunder by the AFL... a quick poorly planned cach-grab that has taken more than a decade to fix...

They are trying not to make the same mistakes with GWS and GC17 but we will see....
