relax they are early befair odds a good indication of what is to come tomorrow. Too be honest i did change them slightly to be a bit more realistic of bookies odds for example north melbourne are 1.99 and essnedon 1.91 that wouldn't happen with bookies. bookies odds generally are very close to early betfair odds. Why do you think I didn't start a round 13 thread because they are not odds from a bookie. yes you can take Essendon at $1.91 right now on betfair if you would like too. Maybe instead of essendon 1.9 and north 1.9 it will be 1.8 for essendon and 2 for north who knows.

I think its a $200 free bet if you tip 8 and get the margin.
Early this year they stuffed the t&c's so they gave $200 for 8/8 but not anymore. Don't know if anyone deserves a $200 bet for tipping 8 favorites anyways?
Did anyone else back Boyd most possies Friday night with Sportingbet? I backed him early in the day @ $3.00, but because Cooney didn't play they refunded all bets on that market. You would expect Cooney backers to get their money back and then just cop a deduction for Boyd. Pretty sure TAB pay you out in full in any case.

I think I do it slightly different to others around these parts.
but twarbs, why don't you pick on vince or sas as they seem to use the same high units.
I have different banks for AFL, Horses/Greyhounds, Misc (NRL, NBA, Tennis, Motor sport, etc) and now Cycling.
The units are not indicative of my overall bank roll. If they were, then an 8 unit bet on the cycling would be something silly like 1.24 units or something, havent worked it out, but you get my drift.
I seperate a set amount that I use for each sport, and bet units according to my bank at the time. Price also plays a part.
My AFL units are $20, Misc is $10, cyclicng has been $5 as I am a newbie there and was trying a bank for the Giro 1st time, but now for the TdF will be $10. Horses/Greyhounds changes all the time, depending on the amount of form I have put in. I have been strict with this for a while now, and it seems to work.
I do know that most here would outlay a unit as 1% of their banks. Thats fine, but that is also why when I show how many units I have on a bet, its very different. I am not betting 8% of my bank roll on a h2h in the Cycling

Overall I am happy with my round 12 betting. I got a few of my small bets wrong but everything above 0.7U was correct. Since increasing the size of my units from the start of round 11 I have gone 17-2 on my picks greater than 0.7U.

Total since round 11 +11.95U's.

Interesting way to do it though, I guess you use higher units for sports you are more confident with, which makes sense I just wouldn't have the patience for that.
The fact you don't get the high unit acusation I guess is a testimant to your tip quality

1 unit, or 10 units, profit is what you are after, don't let anyone divert your focus of trying to make money just because of a remark here or there.
