Our draw against them was rubbish from us but in hindsight hawks form has been quite good.

Our draw against them was rubbish from us but in hindsight hawks form has been quite good.

They seem to be bloody good at defending at the moment.

Tanking isn’t a factor anymore without the automatic priority pick. Who knows who’s going to be the best player in the first ten picks in the draft? Years later when they’re re-ranked the order is usually completely jumbled up. No doubt you’d prefer pick 3 to pick 6 but you’re not risking throwing games to move up 2-3 spots in a draft. The long term effect of doing so on a club’s culture is disastrous (as we should be acutely aware of).
