AFL Round 23

Alright, last round, let's end with a bang.

Here is my weird multi, using the PYOL function more than I normally would, trying to extract some currency from a round I'm finding pretty hard to read;

Hawthorn -34.5 (1.42)
Fremantle 1-39 (2.15) Main anchor of my multi, was thinking Port might get up until I saw the Freo ins, they are in ripping form and I like them to get it done at home.
North Melbourne 15.5+ (1.19) Pretty conservative but hard to know the mindset of both teams.
Brisbane +70.5 (1.14) Pretty silly one and probably should have just taken Cats H2H, guess I had Brisbane's recent record against them and the Cats outs in my head.
Gold Coast +44.5 (1.22) Competitive last week, will want to finish the year off well. Should put on a decent showing at Metricon.

Multi @ $5.05

1 unit on Hawks -79.50 @ $4.40
2 units on Hawks 40+, Essendon H2H, Brisbane +60.50 (Multi @ $2.70)
0.80 units on Adelaide -80.50 @ $3.80
1 unit on Hawks 40+, North Melbourne 40+, Brisbane 1-39 (Multi @ $20.07)
1 unit on Rockliff/Hawkins (Most possessions/Most goals) @ $4.00
1 unit on Hawks Quarter time line -11.5, Brisbane line (3rd quarter only) +9.50 (Multi @ $3.53)
1 Unit on Brisbane-Winner (3rd quarter only) @ $3.20
2 units on Essendon over 15.5 points, Fremantle H2H @ $2.61
1 unit on Hawks 40+, Essendon -17.50, Fremantle H2H, Sydney H2H, West Coast H2H, Adelaide 40+ (Multi @ $10.95)

I don't usually bet on the finals so the betting season is pretty much over for me so I've kindve gone all in this round

Thoughts on the Saints
Can they be competitive and survive the line?
Only got one multi this week but this leg is the worry
Hopefully Richmond win and it'll be a dead rubber for Adelaide.

2U - Hawthorn -98.5 @ 12
1U - Mitchell 40+ touches @ 23
1U - Lewis 40+ touches @ 18
1U - Pendlebury 40+ touches @ 23
1U - Goldsack 3+ goals @ 15
2U - Roughead 6+ goals @ 6

And what does that have to do with it.

The fact is if it was a final Mcglynn, Pyke and J.P.Kennedy and anyone else who pulls out late wouldve played. Thus they are resting these players. No 2 ways about it.

Doesnt matter who anyone supports.

you're the swans club doctor are you?

Nope, just a common sense knowledgeable afl punter.

you follow what the media says blindly, i would call you a sheep

plenty of times a player has been cleared to play a game, only to rock up to the game and feel a bit sore and not play

is it inconceivable that kennedy and the rest trained on the thursday, pulled up alright, hence the media articles, and then felt a little sore in the following days? surely youve been around long enough to know how the world works

Slightly sore, thus rested. Yes. Move on.

$100- Hawthorn - 47.5 at 1.93- Win
Can show proof if needed

Do you really need the approval of randoms that much? Will you sleep better knowing you've posted your 'win' to these said randoms that couldn't give two shits you've backed the most obvious ****ing result in 12 weeks? Bravo Don Scott you are really changing the face of punting in this country.

I'm not sure why you are so upset at them resting Kennedy and McGlynn, annyone can see that if it was a final they would be there. It's not ...so they aren't, it's just common sense there's no need to get your knickers in a knot.
