7000 Pies and 200 WCE according to AFL Membership on Twitter.
Got level 2A at about 10:35am
Took 10mins to get in to site, initially said not enough for 2 tix on level 1 but then went back and forth a few times and got 2A.
Was still heaps available on level 1, they must release bays individually.

Wouldn't except my credit card this morning telling me to contact bank. Contacted ticketek over twitter and the rang me back and processed it over the phone. So if you have issues once your in contact them over social media for the quickest solution. But they seriously need to sought these issues out as I heard plenty had issues with credit cards blocked for no reason for the earlier finals.

I know this information is a bit old now (as it's coming from Friday night), but I wasn't particularly in a great mood to post yesterday considering Richmond's loss.
On my way in via. Gate 7 on Friday night at about 7:20pm I actually saw an MCG staff member (in an orange jacket) take two people out of the line to verify that they were AFL Members after they were unable to present AFL member cards. So I can confirm that they've definitely been checking recently and are prepared to actually fully question people rather than just the casual 'show me your card' type deal.

Maybe related but members behind in their fee payments are prevented from buying finals tickets until they make good their debt.

Not according to my auntie who got checked. They’re not after AFL to AFL. if you can produce your ID, afl membership and valid ticket you’re good.

I wasn't concerned about being a silver member because I thought we wouldn't make a GF in a long time. Hoping I can pull something out of my ass to get a ticket

They do.
Nothing to do with my members card the site said my credit card was blocked. My fees are paid off a completely different credit card not in my name and all payments are up to date.
The issue is the ticketek website. At a guess it was the first time I have tried to use that card on there site. If that is the case they should be doing what other sites do and charge $1 when you setup the card to confirm it so you don't have these issues.

So it was around to M27 open this morning?
Working out whether I should bother trying for level 1 open or just go straight to level 4 or best available.
He had a couple pulled out at 6:30 when I was there also, they were on their phone so may have just forgotten their cards
