AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
One day, a long time ago, I was trying to explain to my thick next door neighbour basic mathematics.
1+1=2....that kind of stuff.
But he just couldn't get the hang of it. No matter how hard I tried.
So, I went outside and bashed my head into a brick wall a few times and I felt better.
He said they are aware of two cases. The second one being Essendon.Gillan reiterated just about word for word what was said on page 17 of that report and said the club in question is Essendon.
Most of your fellow supporters denied this was the case until today.
Most of your fellow supporters started to breathe the sigh of relief in the last day or two.
Most of your fellow supporters tried to scaremonger everyone by saying other clubs are in strife too.
Today's presser changed all that.
Did you listen to the press conference? He didn't say anything about the report.
Well players are apparently coming forward voluntarily now, so this could be on the cards.
Cool.
What was the question?
"The integrity of the game is the utmost priority for the AFL.............."
Who brought Bomber to Essendon?Bomber broght robertson and danks to the club. bomber will probably be stood down if essendon are guilty
Yeah we're under investigation. Congrats. The question was clearly what you don't want to hear. ESSENDON are the club involved. Go to AFL web site.

Did you listen to the press conference? He didn't say anything about the report.
Australian Crime Commission report only identified two specific cases where WADA prohibited performance enhancing drugs may have been used in the AFL. McLachlan confirmed one of those clubs was Essendon - who went to the AFL with concerns over supplement use before the ACC handed down their report on Thursday.
There are two reports. One is public and freely available to you and I (and I suggest you read it!) which summaries the findings of a 12 month ACC/ASADA investigation but does not name names. The other report is a private report not freely available but has been shown to the codes involved (AFL, NRL etc.) and this report names names. The AFL, and by extension now Essendon, are aware of the names contained in that private report. They held the press conference because they were named - they are not being investigated because they held a press conference.I thought it was the AFL that did a press release today not the ACC...correct me if I'm wrong, my point being is why would the AFL be naming clubs and players when the ACC have, apparantly handed this info to state and federal police for criminal charges to be laid? We've been under investigation BY THE AFL all week, the FACTS are that nobody has released who the club is on pg.17 of THE ACC report.....if you were quite happy to believe the spin Caro was pushing at the start of the week, she has also stated that her "sources" say it isn't Essendon that is refered to on pg.17 of THE ACC report. Let's be honest, we are all guilty of believing Caro at some stage....that's the real travisty.
we can tell by your posting history....
yep a lot of essendon cry babies on this thread have proven to be gutless cowards, willing to smear any other club they can and ignore the facts so far..Indeed, despite rumours to the contarry started buy Essendon supporters that it would widen to most other clubs in the AFL....especially Geelong.
Is that directed at me? Coz I have no idea who my avatar is. Its a inside joke.Ironic your defence of the players's actions when looking at your avatar.
Time you learn to start dealing with what is happening with your club.
I hope not.Just had a thought. Massive lols if Melbourne Storm were doping last year.
Where did you hear that??
So.... Thats from Gil's mouth or from a journalist making an assumption?
Coz look at the video provided above.
He doesn't say that at all.
"The AFL is aware of one case involving the possibility of WADA-prohibited performance enhancing drug use by one player at one club.
"The AFL is aware that a second case involves the possibility of WADA-prohibited performance-enhancing use by multiple players at another club.
Asked then if Essendon was the club McLachlan had referred to when mentioning "multiple players", the deputy chief said "yeah".
Essendon have officially become the red (and black) headed step child of the AFL.
Cool.
But did he say that was in the report?
I know we're under investigation. I know that Gil said we were.
All I'm asking is someone to provide a quote from Gil where he said Essendon were under investigation BEFORE Thursday or that we were named in the report.
Nobody can.
