In this thread, ploz provide sauces for anything you claim as fact. It can be specific such as an article link or Neale's sisters cousins hairdresser or vague such as "own sauces" but ploz avoid blanket statements with no reference point, it makes people antsy.

Based on current ladder placement and assuming Gold Coast swap their own future picks and it's #19, Brodie, F3 for our F2..

#19, Brodie, #39 for #27

If the AFL sign off on that they are giving Gold Coast a huge helping hand, but we are genuinely trading something of value in salary cap space.

Gold Coast currently hold 1x first round, 2x second round, 2x third round, 1x fourth round in 2022.

Would you rather Gold Coast's pick or Collingwood's?

All I can find is McPherson and 19 for future second. Of which there F2 is more valuable than ours

Rumour is he already sneaks into McDonalds using a disguise because he prefers their burgers.

The last time I went through a Hungry Jack's Drive Thru, I was greeted by ginormous images of the palm tree and Jack "I dropped the baby" Darling. At that very moment I questioned my life choices and considered reversing out of the joint at break-neck speed. Sadly, someone pulled up behind me, so I turned the sun visor to the side to block the view and said three Hail Mundys. I should have asked the assistant how much it would cost to upgrade from three marks in a season, to five. I'm guessing about another $500 000.

Lets say we get 19 and manage to fight off Wells with a stick so we keep it, how much stock do we put in the wanting Callaghan rumours.

Taking F/S and academy picks into account, would you rather 4 and 15 or 8, 10 and 22

Alternatively
Callaghan and Amiss/JVR OR NVM, Amiss/JVR and Williams

But it is Gold Coast who can basically do what they want as far as the AFL are concerned.
Just move them to Tasmania and call them South Coast!
That is harsh. There are Melbourne based clubs that have been bleeding the AFL dry for many years.
Look at how much it cost the AFL to get premierships for the Bulldogs and Melbourne.
Also remember that the Suns, like the Giants have been r*ped since their inception by all clubs.
Sorry off track from post, but that is garbage.

I was referring to trade history which is relevant to this post and has been discussed by many on BF trading threads.

The Brodie trade or the Cerra trade?

The Brodie trade

"The Suns had been in talks with Melbourne and North Melbourne about offloading their pick 19 due to their tight list this year and buying into next year's draft, with Brodie set to be a part of the deal as the Dockers absorb his 2022 contract.

A swap of future picks is also likely in a move that could unlock Fremantle's move for Jordan Clark and its big-time deal with Adam Cerra and Carlton."

Doesn’t sound too terrible.
where’s the noise on this coming from?
*gestures back at the last 20 pages* ;)

Seriously though, mooted a few weeks ago. Confirmed today be Bell that they were interested, and then Twomey reported on the proposed deal.

Think it gained a bit more traction once Macpherson bailed on North, and Gold Coast realised they needed to move some salary.
