We had Matt Allan (Carlton, Ess) play all his junior footy with us at Olinda before he moved onto Nth Ringwood and then higher honours.

Over 150 games, All-Australian Ruck, 3rd in the Brownlow Medal.

Hey Pup JD was never played for WC, he probs wishes hahahaha, mid 90's he went over and was training with East Perth in the WAFL. Also another person mentioned Jarrod Atkison who got drafted to ESS last year. I played jnrs with him at Coldstream then he switched over and played a Worrawa. then went to Rumbalara or somewhere and played then got picked up to play Bendigo Bombers. So was around 22 years old when got Drafted. Has a older brother Josh and he can play also!! both great blokes, does anyone know where Josh is playin??????

Also Scott Hamill who played at Warby in the 06 premiship played a few games at North Melb a few years ago...

Monbulk had a guy called Hyde who was a gun forward for Hawthorn in the 20s. Then M.Scoon spent time with North in the early 90's.
Hey Do I count for my stint with Footscray in the early 80's.
I see you mention Jeff Bates. He is actually related to me. I remember my grandfather saying he is related to the Hallidays.

Joel Perry I think comes from Seville, Danny Noonan, Sam Mitchell, Heath Hocking, Matthew Bishop and Warren McKenzie were originally from Mooroolbark.

3 of the five mentioned that were from Mooroolbark attended Bimbadeen Heights Primary School and Matthew Bishop grew up on the same street I currently live on.

Ashley Matthews is actually from Lilydale as is Fraser Brown.

South Croydon bred Brett Montgomery and Lukas Markovic while Croydon gave us Matthew Bate.

Monbulk gave Port Adelaide's Matthew Lobbe his chance to hone his game style.

Matthew Larkin came from Boronia, Mark Lisle came from The Basin (Liam Shiels likewise), Shaun Hart was born at a Ferntree Gully hospital and Vermont gave us Daniel McConnell and Chris Knights.
