I'm back in yeehah. I just have to make one more team for Yorke Peninsula Football League (Bute) and then I'll move on to TSL.

Just finished making Bute and now all Yorke Peninsula FL teams are shared on the Community.

So here we go. I'm going to have a go at making the Tasmanian State League.
The frustration will continue for a while as AFL23 demands the following workflow before you share a team

1) create SVG artwork 400 nodes or less
2) import said artwork using Logo Creator in Academy
3) Create New Team in Team Creator
4) Fill in the details
5) Create a guernsey, applying the logos as required to guernseys, shorts and socks. Create clone and give white shorts, because AFL.
6) Get really keen to see how kit looks in game
7) Realise you need 23 players to share
8) Create new players for squad - only joking
8) Collect Team lineup information
9) Collect PLayer partiiculars, position likeness etc
10) Now Create New players making sure to remove any purple boots and tats
11) Go back to Team creator and Add new players to squad (they are the ones with a rating of 1...)
12) Go back to Player Creator ad give each player some skills.
13) Edit Formation
14) Play now.
15) Share

Anywho, here is my first TSL guernsey - Clarence

Some of these logos are quite involved. Tracing from scratch and then simplifying the text takes forever. This is probably 3 hours work just here. Even then, it is technically two logos. The top one for the team logo and the centenary thing will be added seperately on the guernsey.

Apparently there is a currently a 32 club cap on custom teams in the game. Hopefully this can be raised as I still need to setup at least three more clubs (Launceston, North Hobart, North Launceston) and have a bunch more clubs and leagues that I want to make across country South Australia. ;)

You manually trace rather than let the program do it? I assume that yields much more accurate results. Do you just use a mouse or something more accurate like a drawing tablet?

I pretty much toss them in the program, do an auto image trace, then just dick with the simplify settings until it comes good. I've found that Illustrator seems to have a better trace system, while Inkscape's simplify function works a bit better.

Bit from Column A and a bit from Column B. I tend to magic wand some stuff but tracing works better. MY main issue is text. It takes up the majority of my nodes. Sometimes I have to compromise the text a bit and think "Will it be actually seen much in the game?" IF it is on a jersey sponsor on the left of the chest, then it probably is ok if it is a bit simplified or maybe even got rid of.

I still need to make all the players with their correct positions and likenesses. It's gonna be a while. I'm also waiting to hear back from BigAnt about whether the limit on custom teams is going to be raised. If not then I'm not sure I can continue making content.

i've found the only way is to delete teams, i got rid the most of the other leagues i had to make room for the TSL, QAFL & NTFL, someone else has already made the roos and i downloaded them but they don't have the sponsors, they had the league and club logos and rosters, could you share Clarence's sponsors for now?

I'm not deleting teams. The only custom teams I have are ones that I've spent weeks making, so without a way of backing them up, I'm not getting rid of them...
The Clarence team on Community at the moment uses my badges and logos but the roster bears no relation to reality.

Could you share the sponsors of Lauderdale, and Clarence and logo of North Launceston?, i've pretty much got them ready to go all i need are the missing sponsors, also here is the Heritage Cat logo for Lauderdale from the Heritage jumper along with the Sponsor some of the teams use alongside the TSL logo

Dude, I'm making it all. How about some patience... I intend on releasing it all in one go once the rosters etc are done. Making all these logos takes a bunch of time and I've been doing that over the last week or so.I have already made every single one of the sponsors that you put in your previous post.
It is a long weekend in NSW and I am not spending the whole time on here.

Bloody ages.
I have to try and find information about the positions they play, how they look etc. That's not even starting with stadium and sponsors.
