Why am I weeping? Is it for joy because you so kindly linked this article so that I may be more informed? You must be an emotional man.

I am also failing to see what anyone at the club, other than Dank who was an employee at the time did wrong. The players MAY have been some of the clients used for this, and he did boast about his blood checking aspect of his program so you'd have to assume so. The doctors raised concerns about his behaviour and once there was an investigation the club gave this information to relevant authorities. Good on them.

Reid and by extension the club knew he was rorting medicare until they self-reported.

It wasn't an issue until they knew they were under investigation.

EFC, Hird and Reid aren't the pillars of morality you thought they were, time to change the posters on your bedroom wall.

You're joking right?

The AFL do not want sanctions against players. They are happy to burn Hird, happy to burn all the other coaches, they have burnt their own CEO. They do not want to lose a football club for 5 minutes let alone 2 years and deal with the commercial ramifications of that. Believe it or not the AFL have acted almost solely in the interests of the EFC. You cannot see this because you cannot accept Hird has to be collateral damage at best, or is guilty as sin at worst.

You have ruled the EFC out of any leaking?
I would still like to know how Caro new the names were to be released the next day, and the EFC would be holding a meeting about it

Essendon are the ones that stuffed up and there are a whole lot of things that look terrible on their own, especially if they're misrepresented and twisted. For them to leak they have to either get the whole story out there or just give Liberal partyesque slogans. The leaking that came out of Essendon was the "Hird camp" wanting to embarrass Vlad. Vlad had made it personal about Jimmy so he was returning fire.

yet here we are in court about the process of the investigation.
do you think it was Jimmy's team that told Caro?

Because there is no link between the players and it. It wasn't on any consent forms. "Thymosin peptide" was, a small amount of TB4 was ordered through the club and there is a spread sheet of players recorded injections of "thymodulin". Perhaps Essendon will get done for having supplements guy defrauding them by purchasing for his other business with their money and having Dean Wallis doing the spread sheet, hence the missing "mo".
Not even you believed that when you typed it.

does anyone think any of this is fair? Providing no evidence? Suggesting the players haven't cooperated?

ASADA are looking shakier by the day. I honestly think they just want this to go away now

none of it has been fair from day one
ASADA knew from the start there'd be no action on AOD
so why not come straight out and say it?
it's also becoming increasingly clear that 34 show-cause notices have been issued with the same objective as the one issued to Dank
all in the hope that something new will be uncovered
a complete abuse of process

there is some evidence to support this
on the other hand
the AFL knew at the very start there'd be no action on AOD
but yet allowed all this rubbish to continue for 17 months

That sounds really good. At least it sounds good in that form, with so much missing from the sequence of events.

We could even call it a redacted version.
