I like the Freo +18.5 handicap versus the Crows

and Im happy to parlay that with Port Adelaide with a+19.5 handicap versus the Hawks. I know the Hawks are 8-1 in their last 9, but the Power are on a 7 game winning streak. Also the Hawks last game at Princes Park was a loss to Richmond, the same team Port Adelaide smashed last week. These two teams have never made a prelim before and I do sense the nerves will come into play late in the 4th quarter.

Top 4 teams at home after the second chance normally get the job done from a head to head perspective against bottom 4 teams.

I'm more worried about a Hawthorn blow out. Can see them winning by over 40 if they kick straight.

If Adelaide mids just use Stroms hit outs to win clearance I think it will be a tough day for the dockers. If Strom's hitouts are to advantage then I think the line +18.5 line hits.

As strong as North have been all year I like Port to cover the 32.5+ line. If you had been watching the way Port have gone about their 2 finals matches they seem to be playing with lots of emotion and high degree of pressure with their tackles. Almost as if they are playing for someone who is retiring ect.

Wet conditions on Saturday will suit the smaller players and ground level players. I also think playing in the wet, tends to favour the physical players. And even as a straight up bet Vicki Wall at $2.50 looks a big price for someone that plays predominantly forward.

Ill back Hodder in here , still got to remember she averages 0.40 goals a game in 2024, so at $3.80 its a tad overpriced from my side.

think the total at tab has gotten too low now 67.5... two highly skilled teams yes great defensive teams too but the skill will still get goals here.. the forecast isn't actually as bad as it reads if you look at the hourly rain on accuweather.. its basically fine 4-6pm and then only 0.01 of an inch and 0.002 of an inch at 8-9pm game time... even the rain in afternoon doesn't look enough to make the ground wet and hard to play on
