Thinking cash in Jacques and Fitzgerald (seems odd after one game, but not sure where else the cash is going to come from) which would give around 207k to put on top of
1. Allen -> $742k (nobody in this price range feels like an upgrade)
2. Davey -> Blackburn/Conti
3. Scholz -> Good/Edmonds
4. N.Kelly -> Paxman (if back)

Paxman listed as 1 week with concussion.

If I go to Bruton it makes me enough money to do the other two fixes I wanted. It would be instead of selling Aurora Smith... who may well lose money this week. Hmm.

Leaves me with $3k

Will try to fix the backline next week I guess by downgrading 2 of Busch / Gee / Davies...hope Grider bounces back and D'Arcy finds her old role/form...

Someone sell me on Bruton? 27 years old, career body of work almost perfectly consistent at 70ppg which scales to 83 with the longer quarters, but has had a few hot games this year on return.

Surely she’s not 10 points better than her career consistent body of work long term? Feels like a trap

Maybe Garner getting tagged has forced Garner to play some time up forward and Bruton ends up with more CBAs?

She's not exactly matchup proof like Riddell and Garner

Part of me is thinking about going Dowrick to Hatchard instead of Roberts to Hore. Madness? Just feels like Hatchard could be in for a ceiling score this week given the Dogs midfield generally throwing in a few injuries.

Hore against WCE obviously a huge chance to go big too though. And equally fearful of roberts v Melbourne and Dowrick v North throwing up shockers

I think the difference between Dowrick to Hatchard over the span of the rest of the season will be higher than Roberts to Hore. Both could go huge this week though.

A big part of me agrees here, but also a big part of me goes Hatchard is M4/5 and may not actually be a clear best 16 whereas Hore so clearly is. And Roberts is definitely not best 16 so will have to be a trade at some point; the week she goes and gets shut down feels like the right one.

Is there a world Hore gets clamped okay by WCE? They suck, but do they have a good matchup? It just feels like she could easily go 130+

Could Scholz to Wales be a play? Make a little bit of cash, and no Tamara Luke this week so Wales going it alone.

Wales avg 59 last year, including a 33 in R1 where she had 50% TOG. From thereon she went at 62 ppg and often played 100% TOG. 62 adjusts to 73 with the longer quarters.

72% TOG so far this year compared to 89% TOG last year, so you'd imagine with Luke out she'll ruck a lot more, plus a year older. Kinda feel like she could be a smart one?

It’s possible. If I had to guess though, I’d say she’ll line up on Parker.

I think it has to be Roberts to Hore & Dowrick to Prespakis/McDonald right, especially given it comes with a good chunk of cash for next week too. The Lucy Wales option does for that reason too.

Mia King really interests me though for the same reason Bruton interests others, but unlike Bruton she doesn’t have a career body of work that screams mediocre & tackles are hardcore.
