She’s had a terrible year. Hopefully we get to see back to her best in 2024.
We've had a torrid run with injuries this year in general. She missed so much footy this year, this game on sunday she looked to be moving well, then goes and does the knee. Just no luck at all.

Surely not? Didn't she do her hammy last week? lol

Defender Ash Brazill will be a test after sustaining a hamstring injury in Round Seven.

Tall Imogen Barnett faces a further one to two weeks on the sidelines as she continues her recovery from an ankle injury.

Defender Lauren Butler also faces another one to two weeks out with a hamstring injury.

Forward Alana Porter is continuing to recover from a syndesmosis injury suffered in Round Seven and faces another two to four weeks out.

Selena Karlson will miss the remainder of the season through the shoulder sustained in Round Six.

Defender Ruby Schleicher will also miss the remainder of the season after injury her posterior cruciate ligament in Sunday’s Round 10 clash against Sydney.

Ankle reconstruction. Of course it was..

Yeah the words "little" and "ankle reco" just can't be taken as flippant whether you're a professional althete or not.

Feel gutted for Bri. She's a AAA match winning leader and in a game where on field 1%ers are everything, she easily gives our team a 5-7% boost with her presence just by stepping onto the ground.

Any updates on Butler?

Re: Butler. Seems she'll miss a couple early games

Collingwood captain Brianna Davey is doing everything she can to feature in the season opener, after undergoing ankle surgery in the off-season, the Pies will also be without important defender Lauren Butler early on due to a lower leg concern.

Really unlucky re Bri and Butler two of our better and consistent players , we have lost or traded away a lot of good players, some obviously out of our control.
Hope I'm wrong but I feel like we are in for a slide on the ladder this year and really need a near full rebuild.
We have a few good players and a lot of vanilla or average players on our list.
Without Bri I don't think our midfield is anywhere near the level of a lot of other sides. Our forward line continues to lack any depth and consitency.
I hope I am proven completely wrong and the girls have a great year, but I think the coach and list managers will have their hands full at years end.

Geez..

Collingwood AFLW defender Annie Lee and third-year Magpie Imogen Evans are set to spend some time on the sidelines as the pair recover from injury.

The 20-year-old, who was originally drafted to Collingwood in 2022, re-joined the Pies AFLW list during the pre-season period as a replacement player.

So this makes all 3 players we traded into the club, Howarth, Lee and Hyde will miss majority or all of the season.....🫤🙄
