Another huge test, Geelong has been improving and they're getting key players back. The short turnaround and at their home ground will also make it a challenge. However still should win if we now expect to be a finals calibre side.

Also, aside from one obvious other team, in the modern era Geelong is a Do Not Lose Ever matchup.

Coaches know more than me, but Eardley up forward for a 2nd game is a confusing choice. Will see how it goes. Testament to how much faith in Everist they have (who also spent a season being wasted in another position).

I have to leave but I think that quarter was all Geelong and we were lucky to be get 2 goals (and an easy miss for 3). They should never have had 3 players unopposed goal side near the end there.

We started slow last game too, so hopefully a sign we can pick it up again.

Stone set up both goals so far, she's growing in confidence, but Geelong dominated most of the quarter, Breed had a few tackle breaking moments which gave us momentum for a few minutes where we kicked both goals.

So it's not just the mens that try to get our players rubbed out for nothing. Commentators hanging Smith for a perfect Sheppard
Been full on barracking for Geelong so far.

Fellows snaps a goal, we're coming back

Geel 4.6 30
Haw 4.4 28

1/2 time and we are running out the game stronger, we can come back If they run out of legs, McDonald their best mid might be injured, unfortunate for her, but better odds we can over run them.

The Girls have been good against a competitive opponent.

Our gameplay this year is so much improved.

Wales is doing a great job dominating the ruck and is a presence around the ground when moving the ball out the backline.
TLR seems to be everywhere too.
loving what breed brings to the midfield, such a beast.
Bates and westy are also contributing.
I like the look of williamson, but she needs to learn how to kick with her left to be a real weapon, love her speed and attack on the footy.

Greta's had a few fumbles and slow pickups which was a little frustrating but otherwise i dont have too many other complaints.

The quality of our gameplay and ball movement this year is so much better that i cant help but be impressed with the girls progress and who we have recruited in the last two years, we have a great mix of youth and experience.

We should challenge for finals this year and I think that if we keep doing what we're doing in this match we'll get over the line.
Cmon Girls.

Cmon Girls.

Maybe I'm more impartial to some, but I thought Wales was getting caught behind in the ruck and in turn making it difficult for our mids (both a lack of hit-outs to advantage, and geelong rucks getting easier taps)

I also thought mattea has been very good, and probably the second least fumbly (behind fleming)

Eye of the beholder I suppose

Good start by the girls.

Geelong are much bigger and stronger at the contest, hopefully they tire in the 2nd half and we can run over the top of them.
