Having only really seen Hawthorn games that was easily the highest level of skill I've seen for an AFLW game (from both sides). I can't wait for us to move our home games from Frankston so we can threaten to score 75+ almost every week.

Saw after half-time. Girls were fantastic.
Stone looks a ripper . My 8yo loves Gilroy and Breed . The improvement from last season is brilliant.
Cats are a very solid side , so it's a nice scalp away from home .

It's easy to bash commentators.....but they were seriously bad . Sounded like a Geelong sponsored telecast.

Ripping game, lots of skill on display from both teams! Super impressed with the will of the Hawks to respond to any challenge thrown at us.

A really even spread of contributors too.

Yeah the responses were huge, 4 goals from centre bounce in a women's game is crazy.

This was the 2nd highest combined scoring AFLW game of all time.
It is night and day with how the AFLW began. Finally clubs being able to recruit from a pool of girls that have actually played footy in all age groups rather than elite athletes and girls that had to give it up when they turned 14.
I really think the next evolution of gun players are going to be the girls that can pick up the ball at speed rather than slowing down and being tackled, I honestly can't wait to see how the sport progresses for them.
