Did anyone watch the North/Adelaide game yesterday?

The amount of flopping and staging for frees by north was horrendous. I thought I was watching a Geelong men's game.

There was one which was particularly outrageous. She missed the shot though

I've been saying this all season. They've even mastered the Geelong tactic of arms out demanding holding the ball

Brisbane weren’t bad either. Umpire number 3 won’t like watching the replay

Heard unconfirmed rumours Dingley will be 10k capacity wonder if with temporary stands we can beef that up and make a case for a home grand final there

Was wondering about capacity at Dingley. Have they confirmed this? 10k is at least grandstands/seating on two sides?

Not sure if Liam AFLW nuff or Newmo89 know more but

Makes you wonder if you could add temporary seating and get it around 12k to host a grand final….

10k is the seating arrangement for the KCC which means that we will aim to play all games there if possible. I do feel that the GF would still likely be moved to Ikon regardless of the temp seating.

I do wonder how that'll look. None of the artist impressions they've done of the complex showed a ground with that capacity. If that's what the planning is, great, looking forward to it.

IKON did look great yesterday, though I think if they are hoping it becomes a more permanent home for AFLW finals in Vic then it should be upgraded a bit more too.

He was soooo bad, could not believe the lack of decisions and inconsistency. (Was like some of the umpires that officiated the under 10's, only to find out it was a volunteer dad who needed a bex and a lie down after the game
Sadly the game wont progress with crap umpires, improve them and the skill of the game will evolve.

They should be using the mens umpires with 1 development umpire.
There's no surprises that the best umpired games were the ones where razor umpired

Fantastic news.

Best case outcome for the final 21 would be Richo, TLR, West and Gilroy. I don't have a good sense for the other teams' players though, so could be a pipe dream for some.

Agree, she is a gun. Tough, quick, can take a nice mark, kicks it quite well. Great competitor

Smith probably misses out for same reason Bates did, deep position and always lots of talent. One I'm surprised about to see, though very happy is seeing Lucy Wales included. There are a lot of good rucks in the league at the moment, huge for her to get recognised.

Out of the entire squad, Wales probably deserves a spot more than the others.

Fantastic season for all of them, but Wales was effectively a 6th defender all season on top of rucking, and a bug reason our defence held up as well as it did
