Same as the Port mens game during the year. One team playing to win, one team just tried to protect the lead instead of doing what they did for 3 quarters

What is it with us choking against Port!

I'm so gutted, they played so well but couldn't convert their chances. This feels like worst way to bow out too.

Well at least that's the game to build this rivalry on. And plenty to underline and work on next pre-season.

There was an earlier handball when the umpire chose to say the Hawtborn player held the ball, and Port scored a goal from.the free kick. Should have been play on, and generally s called as such.

But really, too many Hawthorn players lost their heads and that played into Ports hands.

Especially the last quarter. 3 blatantly wrong calls all resulted in port scores

The girls have been brilliant this season.

But finals are tough. Bad kicking and finishing is bad football and that has cost us two finals .

Combined 10.21 just ain't going to get it done against better teams.

It's a very tough lesson we hopefully learn from .

Same story both finals, they didn't Learn from last week, then the defensive 2nd to the ball last quarter, whenever this club defends leads and trys to defend a lead, we fall apart.... nightmare fuel defending a flipping lead, best defense is a good offence!

Port have done it again, Men and Woman have a psychological hold on us ATM. That was just a complete choke exactly like our game earlier in the year against the men's team.

Port dominated in the midfield in the last quarter. Most of Hawthorn's attacks were generated by the half back flankers in the last quarter. Basically got bullied in the middle in the last quarter.

I thought the ruck free kick was an absolute shocker, that was going on all game and you pay that with the game on the line inside 50. Inconsistent with HTB all last QTR. Several times they should have got pinged and didn't.
