If he gets down to tapscotts price, he's in as F7/8 with petrie and M7. Hoping that happens in rd 12 so he can come in after the bye.

SURELY he has to come good. at least 80+ for the last half of the season?

tapscott looks like he is going to lose money though, BE of 117 next week :(

But Tappy's out injured for a couple of weeks, so can't drop in price if he isn't playing...

Yup sorry. Pretty clumsy of me. To break it down thought, Tapscott is at 264k with a breakeven of 117, chances are he'll probably lose a bit of money next time he plays, but given he does have around 4 weeks out there is every chance Didak could potentially drop to roughly that price given his predicted movement is -35k over the next 3 weeks which would see him fall to 270k. So a straight swap is potentially on the cards which would see you be able to get Didak in before Tapscott plays next.

I'm looking forward to downgrading Matera to Didak... although now I say that it really depends on their average at that point. It might not be worth it. :D

Cam Richardson down to Didak is looking good for in a few weeks and who said Richo wasnt a cash cow :D

You all do realise that there is the possibility that Didak won't return to his best this year and that downgrading a Darling to Didak in a few weeks may mean you lose ppg or even worst see Didak is dropped.

Really need to see some runs on the board first.

Very real possibility, but also a chance he does get somewhere back to his best, and you get something close to a premium for as cheap as they come.

I guess its the type of risk desperate people who've given up lots of ground already might need to take in the hope of getting some back. i.e. me.

With his current form, it will take a couple good games for his price to first stop dropping, then go up again. So there's plenty of time.

Looking at him play, this year his chasing is lacking and tackling is simply not sticking. Unfit. More of a 'luxury' punt if trades permitting. He need to pump out 100+ scores on average to even worth a spot on people's starting fwd/mid lineup mid-season.

I don't even want to calculate my 'coodabeen' score, as I swapped Pavlich and Didak so many times before the Round 1 lockout that I actually thought I had put Pav in my final team and had dodged a bullet with their respective Round 1 scores...

Was going to trade him out the 2 weeks ago but then Harris went out with a hip, Wallis was dropped and my other bench player was Prestia so I had to MPP him to the mids.

His sitting on the pine this week, managed to score 33 points in a quarter last week but i don't think he can play the whole game. Gone Petrie as F7 and Liba as M6 instead

65 at 3/4 time... so-so, could go either way though I'm not watching the game. Could get scaled up because of his points during the first quarter.

84 in the end. Not hugely convincing, but leaves him with a break even about 75 for next week.

Anyone thinking of grabbing him for use as an emergency or to fill holes in byes. Likely to play 'nearly' every game and could turn it around. If he averages 75 he is no worse than a rookie and if he averages 90+ (not unrealistic) it could be a real advantage.

I've had him from the start and that's exactly what I plan to do with him. Have played him every week, but after trades this week, he will most likely end up on my bench. Will be used only when needed at this stage.

My original plan was to use Sylvia in this role, but he is performing well enough to be a starter in the forward line, so Didak it is.

+1

I've done/am doing the same thing... except he made it to my bench for the first time this week and of course he finally gets at least a respectable score

Yeah I know he's gonna punish me as soon as I bench him, but I just can't put up with his scores any more. If he turns it around great, if not, well hopefully I don't have to use him too often.

It's definitely in my mind. But his scores to date have been middling at best, and while he's an upgrade as bench cover I'd hate to have to start him. The question is whether you can afford a trade on bench cover. I have enough trades to do so, but with the two trades per week limitation I don't know if I can this week... which limits his usability if you can't get him damn cheap.
