....and the other two?
Get a clue please.
Perhaps it is you, who should be getting the clue.

Robson stood down on his own accord
Robinson is still an Essendon employee.

Anything else?

At the end of the day, it is still a substance that according to WADA - who write the code - that has been banned since 2011. We've all seen the Dank emails to WADA where he deliberately twists the advice given from them. He was advised by them to contact ASADA for clarification (as is normal practice). He thanks them for the advice that it is not prohibited and is again advised that while it is not prohibited under S2, they notice that there is no approval for it by any regulatory health authority which means it would fall under S0. He KNEW that. Yet he still chose to use it at Essendon.

Why is it that I was able to discover that the drug fell under Category S0 within 5 minutes of researching it in February and nobody at Essendon gave it a second thought? Every listing of it in February had "FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY". Does that not raise a very large red flag?

I just want to clarify what I mean by getting off on a technicality. The drug is banned. According to WADA - was banned in 2011. Therefore, when your players were being plugged full of it in 2012, it was banned. Getting off on the technicality that incorrect information was provided to you, doesn't change the fact that your players took a banned substance.

And whilst you may well be celebrating now - and good on you, it's by far the best news you've had for weeks - there is still a very long way to go in all this. Specifically now the issues of other substances taken, the willingness of your Club to administer these types of substances into your players with little or no knowledge of the long term health effects, the accusations that Coaches and staff were receiving banned substances and the lack of any form of governance, all come into play.

You win the fight on AOD - maybe. But will you win the war? Time will tell.

My god, what is this crap!

War!

Last week, when he was demanding heads on stakes Essendon supporters were declaring him to be an idiot. Now he's a god and must be believed. Quite funny really how they flip flop between love and loathing for the various news makers.
Last week he was basing his assumptions off opinion, this week he has facts.

Funny how people don't quite understand this yet still are waving incoherently about bans

Does this mean that Dean Robinson will be re-instated at Essendon and given a public apology.
If Essendon believe they haven't done anything wrong, why did he need to be sacked?
He wasn't sacked. He is still on the books being paid every week. I think it was the club trying to protect him more than anything. I could be wrong though.

Fishy, Essendon have been fighting for their lives. No doubt about that. IF found to be guilty of administering banned substances - loss of players, points, money, personnel. HUGE amounts at stake here for the Bombers. So yes, metaphorically it is a war. A small win over AOD today according to one journalist. And while he's declaring players won't be suspended based on AOD advice, he hasn't taken into consideration any of these other substances.

I like Whately. Think he's one of the best in the business - but on this, I believe he has gone prematurely, and far too confidently on only ONE piece of the puzzle.

If it was so simple it would have been over already. Essendon are not in the clear they are like the kid who's been caught saying did not over and over. It seems to me that they did not want to know the full status of the drug. But remember it's a strict liability for the athlete to know what goes into their system
So I think I can see a fair amount of lawyer stuff happening soon

The AFL and ASADA have worked together in this 'most complex of issues'.

i.e How to maintain the integrity of ASADA, scare the competition out of doing this anymore and then finally get away with slapping Essendon with a wet lettuce.

I never used to like Vlad, but shit this man has some command about him. Respect !
I like that idea lol

Fanboys on here hoping that Thmyosin or something else is proven are not very funny.

Fk this is gold.

Even better is those thinking points will be stripped after erroneous advice for a drug that does not even enhance performance.

This finals series is going to be A1
