Looking at Keys again last night. After MP, there was no over exaggerated drop to the court carry on like other players do. Just straight to the net to shake hands with Sabs.

Meanwhile.. the carry on from Sabs acting like a petulant child. I know she's upset, I know she's not a robot. But I really hope she looks back on that, regrets it and doesn't repeat it again the next time she loses a GS final.

I think Keys was in shock. She couldn't believe it finally happened.

I like Sabalenka and I agree it wasn't a good look. But it showed how much it meant to her. The pressure was on her as the favourite, as well as all the talk of the three-peat. She did the right thing and went off court to compose herself.

Just ran into my neighbour on the street.

"Were you celebrating something last night, I could hear something going on"
I apologise profusely
"No no it's fine I was just there bored scrolling on my phone, I'm glad someone was having a good time"

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ok so according to my brother, after Sabalenka lost the US Open, she went into the locker room and smashed a million racquets. She really doesn't like losing!

Haha how loud were you??

I'm really bad watching the Swans on tv. The neighbours must think there is a domestic going on!

I had the doubles on last night and I didn't realise that they could review certain decisions.

One team reviewed the double bounce call. It was like The Arc with the umpire reviewing the footage backwards and forwards.

Then another time a team questioned whether the ball had crossed over the net before the player at the net hit it. He was right.

The v Brisbane match where they got a holding the ball decision not paid for them and we won by highway robbery, I screamed the house down. Felt very bad after for my neighbours

That's fine though. That's in the locker room and not out on court

Idk... I used to loathe Geelong losing when I was a teenager and maybe early 20s. I grew out of it.*

*Not a comparison of losing a GS just losing in general

It just doesn't effect me anymore. Losing a preliminary over it in a few days. GF.. a few weeks.
